First I'd like to thank Violet Howe for sending me an eBook copy of Crossing Paths in exchange for an honest review...Thank you! I liked that we got to know more about Caterina (Cat) in this book after meeting her in volume 1, Building Fences of the Cedar Creek Family series. It's refreshing to know that people still have a lot to live for even after the age of fifty. Women can still be sexy, and men can still be aroused by women in their fifties. This book is written in multiple POV's, with the two main POV's being Cat and _____ (I don't want to spoil it for you); but he was the love of Cat's life back when she was in high school. To hear both sides of what happened back then, how they're cooping now, and the reactions of others as they consider a rekindled relationship. There are a variety of characters with all kinds of personalities within the pages of this story. Violet Howe did well writing real people who have real reactions. I'm looking forward to reading more from the characters in both the Cedar Creek series and the Cedar Creek Family series.
