About the Author
VOLLIE SANDERS and her husband, Darrell, have served in The Navigators in Business and Professional, Collegiate, Military, Community, and Church Discipleship ministries. They are presently ministering with the Metro Mission. Vollie was The Navigators’ national women’s director for five years. Vollie and Darrell live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and are delighted to be parents and grandparents.
GIGI BUSA ministers with the Church Discipleship Ministry (CDM) of The Navigators, partnering with churches to develop disciplemaking leaders. She served on the pastoral staff at Brookville Baptist Church in Holbrook, Massachusetts. Gigi is a speaker who shares her passion for women to develop a dynamic relationship with Jesus. She and her husband, Buzz, live in Massachusetts and adore being parents and grandparents.
RUTH FOBES and her husband, Bob, partner with pastors and church leaders to develop disciples. They have ministered with The Navigators on college campuses and in communities and neighborhoods. Ruth’s great joy has been to see women whom she has discipled and mentored invest in others. Ruth and Bob live in New England and are blessed to be parents and grandparents.
JUDY MILLER serves in ministry along with her husband, Dick. They have been blessed to serve in the Collegiate and Military ministries of The Navigators in the United States and Mexico and within churches where Dick has been the pastor. Judy and Dick now serve with the Church Discipleship Ministry at The Navigators. Judy’s heart is to encourage and disciple women life-to-life in their walk with Christ. She has served as women’s ministry coordinator for their church and has been involved in many aspects of women’s ministry. They live in Cedar Park, Texas, and are privileged to be parents and grandparents.
DIANE MANCHESTER has ministered to women through The Navigators and at Shepherd’s Door (a ministry to women and children at Portland Rescue Mission) and has also served on several church pastoral teams. She and her husband, Bruce, live in Portland, Oregon, and have two grown daughters.
