OMG! I know that when I read a book by Ms. Taylor, I will: get my heart torn out of my chest, be left in a state of uncertainty, or be afraid to see what’s going to happen next (or all of them) and this latest addition to the series is no exception! I’ll try to keep spoilers out of this review, but I have to admit it will be hard. We all know what happened at the end of the last book, and Logan has to deal with the consequences of that. I love that she steps up and succeeds so well at something she hasn’t had to do before. And, boy, does she have a lot to deal with. The loyalty of some of her people is amazing. She also partners with Alivia to discover information about her father. Again, that just tore the heart out of my chest for what they uncover. I just love the direction this book has taken at the end, and I can’t wait to see just exactly how they will get out of the pickle they find themselves in now. This book is the best one I’ve read by Ms. Taylor, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! I was provided a complimentary copy of the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.
