A Number One Bestseller in Dark Fantasy,  Gothic Romance and Vampire Romance

All three books in the DARK GUARDIANS FANTASY SERIES are now available.

Book I: Cruxim (You are Never Alone)
Book II: Creche (Know Thyself)
Creed III: Creed (All Things Know Where they Belong)

Amedeo is Cruxim, an enigmatic, immortal fallen angel who knows little about his dark past apart from a curious prophecy and an unremitting lust for blood. Destined to seek redemption as a vampire hunter, he nourishes his insatiable thirst on the blood of the undead. But when the object of his erotic passion, the novice nun Joslyn, is turned into a vampire and enters a coven, Amedeo's worlds collide. Shattered by the loss of his beloved, the dark hunter vows to wage an epic battle to rid the world of the undead once and for all, even if it destroys his vampire romance with Josyln, and even Joslyn herself.

Joining dark angel Amedeo on his quest to decimate the undead is Sabine. As passionate, headstrong, romantic and immortal as she is, she is also half-woman, half-lioness. As a Sphinx—a winged guardian once believed to be a myth—she has protected mortals from vampires since sin saw mortals evicted from the Garden of Eden. Yet Sabine comes to the battle pursued by her own enemies. Archaeologist Dr. Claus Gandler knows the secret of Sabine's past and has vowed to torment her for eternity or find a way to destroy this dark huntress forever.

Captured and tortured by the evil doctor, Amedeo and Sabine are paraded as sideshow freaks in Gandler's Circus of Curiosities, a travelling freak show. Only vampire Joslyn has the power to intercede. Will she prove this dark angel's redemption, or his destruction?

Set in 18th Century Europe, this epic saga of forbidden love plays out amid a mighty battle of good against evil, fallen angel against nosferatu devil, and reason against madness in an adventure fantasy series critics have described as reminding them of "Anne Rice books, where the character must stay true to himself as well as the period and place of the tale" and called "dark, visceral and not for the squeamish.”

The story was good but it seemed as if they didn't even edit the book! Names mixed up, sentences not complete.... ouch

Good thing this was a free book. For me it is BAD. I got 87 pages in and was in so much agony I had to stop. Come on there is only so much pious self loathing that you can take.

Intriguing story about an immortal fallen angel known as a Cruxim, who is in love with both a vampire and Sphinx. There were interesting twists as well as predictable ones. This had a love triangle that kept me wanting Amadeo (the Cruxim)  to be with Joslyn (vampire) at times; then with Sabine (Sphinx) at others. Cruxim's purpose is to kill vampires which is why the Joslyn relationship is complicated. All in all, a good, fast read with information I hadn't heard about Sphinx and Cruxim.

This story is very intriguing. It took me a bit to get into it but then I had to see it through! Cruxim is darker than any book I have ever read but well worth the read because of book two (Creche). This is one that stays with you. Karin's way with detail makes the setting come alive. I have already purchased the third because I am dying to know how it ends!

Very good start of a series. Fast moving tale of Amadeo, a Cruxim, loving a Human girl, Joyce and a Sphinx. The evil Beltran makes Amadeo's love, a Vampire. He also troubles Sabine, Amadeo's other love, the Sphinx. You Amadeo hunting Beltran. Can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy, 'Creche' and 'Creed'.

The story line of this book is great and well worth the read, but i bleave they try to hurry the story along to much info in just a few chapters. Then they have to add fillers usless info to the later chaptors to make it longer, 1-10 i give it a 6
