Marilyn Monroe's life began on not such an easy road. Her father left after her birth. Born Norma Jean Baker, Marilyn had a rough childhood. She was constantly moving from place to place. She was on her own. Her mother and grandmother were placed in mental intsitutions. Finally she got her big break. After struggling for so many years all of a sudden Marilyn beacame involved in many on screen hits. Her life was evolving around fame. Marilyn was becomming very popular with the men. Her death in 1962 shook up the world and there still are no answers. I thought that this was a very interesting book, even though at times it became boring. It was a very descriptive book. There were so many details about her life and what was happening. If you are interested in finding out deep details about Marilyn and her life this would be a good book to read. Also, if you are wondering about details of her life and death you will surely find what you are looking for in this book. All in all, Marilyn's life was very complicated in many ways from beginning to end.
