Death affects us all but it remains something we still struggle to talk about as a society, and grief is still widely misunderstood. When Carolyn Puttnam lost her beloved father, she was more affected than she had contemplated and in ways she had never imagined. She struggled to find a book that offered help so drew on her own experiences to write Cuddle a Memory, in the hope that it might help others survive the loss of a loved one.

About the Author
Carolyn Puttnam worked as a beauty therapist for 16 years, during which time she spent time listening to her clients' problems on a range of subjects, including grief. After a life-changing year when she lost her dad and two grandparents, she wanted a book to help her with the problems this created. Having not been able to find the book she was looking for, she decided instead to write it. This process led to her wanting to change career and she is currently studying to become a counsellor. She is married with two young children and a Miniature Schnauzer. The family live in Hertfordshire.
