Interview WithThe Author
Q- What's so special about this book?
"It's just very different from most of the erotica I've seen out there. I've fulfilled a a long time vision of mine with this book: to create a good story that takes place in a fantastic land of swords and otherworldly beings, with plot and character development and storylines- AND really delicious, super explicit, naughty bits. Normally you have to distinguish between the fantasy genre and the sexual fantasy genre, but this novel is both!"
Q- What would you like readers to know before diving in?
That's a good question. I'd say this story probably won't be like anything they've experienced before. I wove in so many elements: conspiracies and vanquished cultures, discoveries and convoluted twists, fear, blades, death and rebirth.
I play with power dynamics, gender dynamics and relationship paradigms. I do NOT stay inside the "vanilla" sex box. The characters' sensual experiences go all over the spectrum. I had FUN writing this novel and I think my joy will infect anyone who reads it.
Q-Why should someone who's never heard of you or this book give it a try?
Because this book is full of wonder. There's strange magics and cultures and the sexuality is twined within and around all of it. I wrote the kind of erotica I've always wanted to read: a piece of fiction that leaves readers aroused AND inspired, wide-eyed and wishing they could visit the world I've created, ready to tell all their friends about it.
Q- Final question: We hear you've coined your own name for the work you've created?
Yes. I call it Fantasensua: explicit, graphically illustrated, character and plot-driven erotic fantasy. And there ya go!
