Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies by Michelle Malkin

The #1 New York Times bestseller, Culture of Corruption is now in paperback! Featuring a brand new introduction and completely updated throughout, this investigative tour-de-force by bestselling author Michelle Malkin delivers a powerful, damning, and comprehensive indictment of the culture of corruption that surrounds Team Obama’s brazen business-as-usual influence peddlers. From power broker Rahm Emanuel, to pay-to-play tainted Michelle Obama and Joe Biden, to ethically challenged Tim Geithner, to crime-coddling corporate lawyer Eric Holder, Culture of Corruption proves that this is the government of the crony, by the lobbyist, and for the well-heeled. Obama lacks the will to change Washington politics, and Malkin reveals what his agenda means for his presidency—and America.

as a voter Iam very thankful that this book "culture of curruption" was writtion. the arthur michelle malkin has done an exellent job looking into the questianable activities of some of the members of the obama administration that have been over looked or brushed under the carpet for one reason or another. this bestseller goes into great detail with acorns and obamas involvment and some of the corporate lobbyists and those who did not pay their income taxes in the presidents staff. we should have a great example for our politicans and goverment.

This is a most enlightening book on the Obama administration. The book is obviously not meant for the unintelligent person. To read it requires an open mind and the ability to independently verify facts. Given you are open minded and sufficiently intelligent enough to independently verify facts, you will enjoy the book. If you are sound byte oriented, and lack the ability to follow a concept for more then a sentence phase, the book is not for you.

Michelle did an awesome job of laying out the trail of corruption that follows the Obama administration. It made me realize that this administration is no different than any other. I love the way Michelle uncovers the little known facts about Obama's appointees. It made me clearly see their agenda and how they are in the process of paying back the people who got them there. It's commentary like this book that will shed light on what these politicians are capable of and help us to avoid being sold a bill of goods.

For all the bashers of Malkin's book, I have yet to read a single review that legitimately challenges anything in the book. The biggest criticism I've heard is that Obama's presidency is only 7 months old, so how could she have already passed judgment? The reality is that she isn't judging the effectiveness of Obama's presidency, and her publisher has done a disservice to the book by trying to sell it that way. The book is about the people in the Obama administration and what they were doing for a living before they were hired to work for Obama. I am appalled that 90% of these people aren't in federal prison, and if they didn't work for Obama, where their indiscretions can be swept under the rug of government secrecy, some of them might very well be. Malkin has meticulously researched the backgrounds of all the key players in the administration and traced their alliances with the banks whose activities caused the financial meltdown, involvement with the thugocrat practices of the big labor unions, allegiances to corrupt politicians like former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, tax evasion schemes, Obama's own nefarious relationships with SEIU and ACORN, and all the promises of transparency and ethical behavior Obama hasn't delivered on. Malkin even devotes an entire chapter to Michelle Obama and the patient-dumping scheme she designed and executed when she was running the University of Chicago Medical Center, aided by Obama's senior adviser, David Axelrod. Anyone who believes the Obamas really want quality health care for all should take a look at this chapter and see just how poorly Michelle treated patients who couldn't afford to pay for services at her hospital. Again, this is not a political commentary on the Obama presidency; it is a rather disgusting expose of all the dirty details you'll never see on the resumes of any of the people chosen to work for him. For those of you wondering how much is fact and how much is fiction, Malkin ends her book with a list of sources almost 80 pages long. You can verify it all yourself, if you're so inclined. If you're a huge Obama fan and you don't want to believe him guilty of associating with union thugs and white-collar criminals, this isn't the book for you. If you want to know the truth about the kind of people who are running your country, it is a very enlightening read.

Michelle Malkin is a gifted thinker, researcher and advocate for ethical leadership in government. She tells it like it is and backs up her words with well-documented facts. Those who reject her writings out-of-hand do so because she disagrees with their less-well researched and thought-out opinions. We are fortunate to have someone like Michelle who helps us with her always valid perspectives presented concisely and professionally. Every American would be wise to read and consider her thoughts and ideas. We should try to encourage her to run for public office. She would get my vote.

There is no doubt that the writing will stimulate the New Revolution of the middle class. As Mark Levine states the Statist or Marxist knows the middle class must be either destroyed or brought to a non-thinking status. Michelle enlightens those THAT do read and appreciate facts and shares that information, particularly since the socialist media will not. I appreciate her courage to bring this enlightening information to main street USA. This along with other factual books on this administration will rally the true American. We will either stand up for The Framers of our constitution and what they fought so hard for or we shall fall and the gift given will be no more.

I think that the news media is scared to research the czars. All of our politicians need to ask the hard questions. One person shouldn't make these decisions on who gets the job. In my profession the best person gets the job, not our friends?

As a avid follower of Ms. Malkin, I know how long she's been collecting her information and doing extensive research on this farce of an administration and the congress that upholds it. Anyone who wants to blindly reject this as right-wing attack on the glorious One, will regret it in 4 years. There is a long line of corruption, lies and theft that is the Democratic party and people like Obama are deeply rooted in it. His lifelong ties to radicals and corrupt politicians should make any wise voter scratch their heads. His connection to ACORN, Fannie & Freddie, SEIU etc. are just the tip of his corrupt iceberg. If you care about this country and seek to review the evidence of this new culture of corruption we now live in, look no further. And to those that think this is a book of lies, prove it. Attempt to debunk anything Michelle has laid out.

Good for Michelle. She's doing the job that the MSM hacks can't or won't do.

The Chicago underworld is alive and well and lives in the White House. Well written compendium of substantiated facts. Makes the Clinton gang look like Boy Scouts. Actually does for Obama what the fat guy in the ball cap was incapable of doing in his book on President Bush. Should be mandatory reading for all Americans.

Congratulations Michelle, well done. Interesting and enlighting. Great read for anyone who is open to consider another point of view. Finally some truth for those of us that cannot believe what is happening to our country. Great job of establishing a timeline, researching and tracking all the "characters" in this socialist drama. With the mainstream media on the Obama bandwagon we need someone who has the nerve to tell it like it is. Just plain ole dirty Chicago politics taken to the nth degree.

Some of the Obama-mania is thankfully winding down. What most Americans thought was the modern-day savior is turning out to be worse than just your common, everyday politician. In fact, Barack Obama has an agenda...a bold, threatening agenda that will plummet the United States into complete and total anarchy, destroying the foundation of what makes America the greatest country on earth. Thankfully, many Americans are coming out of their liberal media-induced comas and discovering that Obama is one of the most dangerous and radical Presidents this country has ever seen. Michelle Malkin has no qualms exposing Obama for what he really is, instead of what CNN would like for us to think he is. When you look past Obama's unjustified media build-up, when you stop believing he is a Messiah and see what he really is, you soon realize we were sold a very, very bad bag of goods. Malkin justifies what those of us who never supported Obama knew from the beginning and those who got caught up in the whole "Obama Means Hope" craze will be in for a very rude awakening as the **FACTS** and I repeat, **FACTS** unfold in this very informative page-turning revelation in the form of a book.

Coming from a registered Independent who voted for Obama, this book was fabulous. Everyone with a brain should read this book. This book was very well researched and sheds the light on Barack Obama, the man, and those in his inner circle. At first i was skeptical of this book. But after reading this book and checking up on the research, i have now come to the conclusion that Barack Obama should be ashamed of himself for misleading the American people into believing that he would change Washington.

Malkin really does her research. This book is definitely NOT a rapid read, you need to absorb this important information. I have passed the book on to everyone with an open mind.

If you've been bothered by the "too smooth" Obama speechmaking and the broad paintbrush he uses, rather than the slender pen of detail, you'll find Michelle Malin's book a relief to read. She answers all those pricklies you felt during the campaign and the outright "whoa there" feelings you've experienced since Obama took up residence in the White House. If you have any doubts, as she surely expected from many of her readers, she supplied 80 some pages of documented sources. You don't pick Chicago as your place to learn the politician's craft and then rise so quickly through its ranks and develop relationships with some of the most despised, irreverant, and even criminal associations as Obama did and come out as the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I'm not surprised that his curtain has fallen away so quickly; but I am indebted to someone like Michelle to pull it all together. I knew this man and those around him, like Axelrod, Emanuel, and Gibbs made my skin crawl. Now I know why. Everyone should read this book if you care about your country.

In this era of extereme politics, both from the left and the right, this book looks into the background of a very controversial president and the people around him. You may not agree with her findings but the truth is often more compelling than fiction and she certainly doesn't pull her punches. This books draws you into the nitty gritty of the people who have the ear of the president and how they came to their political and social beliefs and how they have influenced the path of our nation. I think this book should be on every true american's reading list. A great read.

I grew up in Chicago under the Daley administration (the old man, not the kid) and am fully aware of Chicago style politics. I was appalled to see how widely spread (adopted, if you will) it is in the current administration. A definate must read!

The research was great. I learned so much from this book about the people in the Obama World and the world of Chicago style politics. I took what she wrote and did more research on some of the people and their background, from college days to present and some of the organizations with which they are connected and I found it to be a very revealing study.

I am totally asstounded at the detailed (footnoted)expose of Obama's Administration's graft and corrupton. Every Obamaloverin America needs to read and absorb this--but they will just Pooh Pooh it away.

This book is an inspiring and thouroughly researched piece that leaves no stone unturned. The unprecedented amount of research and time spent digging in the muckiest territory is a feat in it of itself. I applaud Malkin for making the effort to bring this information to a public spotlight, and this is no small feat considering the clout this administration applies so heavily. Besides the Democrat's manipulation exposed in this book, I especially enjoyed reading comments of liberals attemtpting to deface it. ALL of the information in this book is factual, and only Malkin's pointed conclusions could be considered subjective; this hardly seems the case after you see what evidence she has dug up. Malikin even goes out of her way to use liberal media outlets as sources when researching this book. Blind liberals attack this book for its negativity because, well, you certainly can't attack it for its content which is consistently solid. One comment earlier, just like Obama, plays the race card, while another commenter accuses Malkin of the very things that Obama is exposed as being guilty of: fear mongering and corporate tax breaks among others. If I had one wish for our political landscape, it would be that people read this book and understand what they have elected and what they are letting occur right now. I'm not going to lie, this book is taking a firm stance AGAINST Obama, but she executes this thesis with facts, not empty rhetoric (and you know who I'm tlaking about).

This book ties together many of the dangling pieces, involving the corruption in the Washington insiders "cast of characters". Michelle Malkin has done extensive research on the Progressive's involved in much of the unscrupulous activities. The main street press does not even report on these items and as such we, the taxpayers are left to keep footing the bill. There is a very dishonest atmosphere in our nations capital, and the main street press as a whole is equally as culpable as the politicians themselves. This book does a lot to put all of this in perspective and explains how this activity takes place. It just confirms the idea that they all must go and start from almost scratch. They don't even know who we are!!!

I was drawn to purchasing this book due to watching Michele on Fox News. As neither a democrat or republican but rather a pro-life libertarian (if there can be such a thing) I felt her arguments made a lot of sense. After reading this well researched book, now I am convinced they do. For maximum absorption, I had to read the book in several sittings. Those smarter than me might be able to keep up with all of the shenanigans and corruption but I found it difficult to digest the steady stream of information. I can only hope that this book along with a few others can make a difference in the direction of the country. I also read and recommend, Catastrophe, Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government and Going Rogue: An American Life. Michael L. Gooch Author of Wingtips with Spurs: Cowboy Wisdom for Today's Business Leaders.

I like Michelle Malkin. The book was very well written and researched. The only thing I would say - and this is a personal perference is that I like Ann Coulter's Books more... The reason is while Malkins are very good I like the humor of Ann's better.... Thats just me - But I would deff recommend this book!
