Cumulative vocabulary lists for the 40 chapters of Wheelock's Latin. The list for each chapter contains all the words for that chapter as well as for all chapters preceding; e.g., the chapter 10 list includes all the words introduced in chapters 1-10, usefully sorted by part of speech; nouns and adjectives are further sorted by declension, and verbs by conjugation; all English meanings are included, as are macrons and accents.

The book arrived in perfect condition, and was exactly what I wanted. I've been using it for a while now as a reference tool in my studies, and it really is a great find. I was also impressed with the seller, as the shipment arrived very rapidly and there was no damage to the product, which was still in very good condition for a used volume. If you can get an ex-library book like the copy I got, it will from my experience be a very "clean" copy, with minimal if any markings and in the case of mine no really noticeable wear and tear. The book is perfect for use with the 6th edition of the Wheelock's Latin book, and makes a handy reference tool when it comes to vocabulary, especially if you only want to see what has been given up to a certain chapter and nothing given in later chapters. If you already have studied the main textbook, then it is simple enough just to flip to the last chapter's vocab section in this supplement and see all of the vocabulary grouped by word type or use, and in the case of nouns and verbs, by declension and conjugation, listed alphabetically under each heading. All in all, it is worth the investment if you are using the 6th edition of Wheelock's Latin. This may not work well with the newer 7th edition, but if you are not required to use 7th edition, the older books honestly aren't that much different, save for a few formatting changes and tweaks to the exercises, stories and pictures. If you want to teach yourself or somebody else basic Latin, then this book would be very useful as a vocabulary reference. I personally had a copy of this in my college Latin class, and sold it back before I realized how badly I needed it; it would have helped me a lot! The used copies are much cheaper, since the book is somewhat eclipsed by 7th edition, but it is perfect if you are still using the older 6th edition. Can't recommend this product enough.
