If you enjoy reading cozy mysteries then this is a book for you. The author made me feel like I had known the characters for years. There were parts of the book that made me laugh out loud and there are not a lot of books that make that happen to me. The cupcake recipes and instructions after chapters made me giggle and I am going to have to try a few of them:) I am looking forward to the next Cupcake book!

Some psychic ability doesn't mean that your life is easy. The main character's life takes twists & turns when her husband's lover (?) ends up dead by her cupcake. Can't wait for more by this author.

It took me awhile to get into it, but in the end it was a solid read

Not really a cosy mystery to me. It didn't get interesting or make sense until the last quarter of the book. I probably won't read anything else from this Author. And for the record I never once laughed out loud...or silently either.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book. I you like Stephanie Plum books read this one.

This was a very quirky but fun read. At times the story seemed disorganized. Annie & her friends were very loyal to each other but also self absorbed. They frequently smoked pot & indulged in prescription pills & alcohol. I would most likely read book 2 in the series just to see what would happen next. I also enjoyed the humor.

How can you go wrong with a cupcake? You can't. This is a wonderful book. It's funny, well written, sprinkled (like a cupcake) with hilarious asides and the main plot line features a very likeable heroine and a bad boy partner that you can't help but like, even though you know you shouldn't. I can't wait to read the sequels!!!!
