Overview

Can a sassy, fiery dragon and a smokin'-hot dragon slayer have a happily ever after?

Theresa Nichols is so over being stuck in dragon form. Two centuries of being trapped indoors because society can't handle a dragon is two centuries too many...especially when it means she's about to miss out on her one chance for love.

Desperation sends Theresa to make a deal with her reluctant bestie's boss, who happens to be the leader of hell. Totally worth risking your eternal soul to get your life back, right?

Except once Theresa goes human, everything falls apart. The dangerous badboy she's kinda falling for turns out to be an ex-dragon slayer, her ex-lover from a couple centuries ago is stalking her, and there's a team of active dragon slayers hunting her down.

When private detective and reformed dragon slayer Zeke Siccardi realizes that he's inadvertently set two sets of assassins on Theresa's tail, he's determined to make it right, no matter how badly she wants him out of her life.

There's no chance for a dragon and a dragon slayer to make a relationship work, right? But when the stakes involve murder, eternal love, and the safety of the Goblet of Eternal Youth, not to mention the fate of dragons everywhere, Theresa and Zeke can't afford not to team up. But will their deadly attraction destroy them before they can save Theresa's life and Zeke's soul? It might...but it's so hot between them that it might almost be worth it.

She was taught to play by the rules, but after suffering numerous apoplectic breakdowns, she realized that she had to ditch the rules, figure out her own way to live, and then turn that into a high-octane, irreverent, unpredictable-as-hell, paranormal romance that will make your day so much better just by reading it. I always love books by S.A. Bayne and this is no exception. Her ability to develop characters is astounding and makes me jealous! Her story worlds are also brilliant and believable. As the second book in the series, I wasn't sure it would keep my attention, but I can tell you that it definitely did! I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to read the next book. I received an advance copy and am leaving my voluntary honest review of this title.

Fun, lighthearted read, that surprisingly addresses a few deep character issues well. I love how the author has her characters grow while still retaining the breezy tone of the book. Theresa and Zeke are anything but perfect. Yet they are perfectly suited for each other. The fact that she's a dragon and he's a dragon slayer might make their relationship a bit problematic, but it also makes it entertaining. One of my favorite side characters from this series is Becca Gibbs. Theresa interacts with her a lot in this book. They could almost be considered friends, just don't tell them that. I hope to see a book for Becca in the future. She is only one of the quirky, yet deadly characters that make Theresa's life interesting. The action is pretty much nonstop, yet still manages to be balanced with humor, sizzling lust, and a few sappy feelings that made my heart go pitter-patter. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader's copy of this book. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a fun paranormal romantic adventure. I know I'll be lined up waiting for book three.

Dragons, slayers good vs evil and lots of hot sexy stuff makes this book another winner from this very creative author. A very funny look at the world of magic and a sarcastic take on modern society is rolled up into a coming of age romance centered around an outrageous dragon that will win your heart. The characters are wonderful and fun and the action is non stop. I totally loved it and had a hard time taking a break it was so good. I was given an advanced (ARC) copy for a review. I recommend this book.

I was looking forward to reading her story and it doesn’t disappoint. She really is a lot of fun and definitely has a lot of complications to face in this story. It is a fun read and has a good romance at the heart of the story. There are some good surprises along the way. The ending is perfect and very fitting for the characters. I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Be prepared to laugh and yell at the characters with this new book by a new favorite author! It's got it all dragons, Satan, reformed dragon slayer, and more so much more! It's one of those stories that you want more of but at the same time don't know if you can take more because you've laughed or yelled yourself out. The characters are fun and others you want to smack or kill. There are some I hope will get their own story, pretty please with sugar one top. A definite must must read!

The second book of the series was such a fun read! Pairing a slayer and a dragon together might seem like an odd mix, but in a SA Bayne story, it made perfect sense - and they truly were well matched. Filled with non stop action, suspense, humour and steamy romance, this was another page turner for me. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book

WOW!!! I have so long been waiting for this Author to start writing and look at her go this is book 2 and I do love it . T and Zeke are so very right for each other and so very wrong that they make me smile . They make you want to punch them ! aww They even made me want to jump into the book and shake the ever loving mess out of them . I love all this book has to offer. I love that T has to start taking charge of her life and stand up for what she knows is her responsibility. Its just great to watch someone grow before your eyes. Zeke well he is a big pile of hot mess that I wanted to blow smoke on him myself . lol I think they are great for each other like I said and I cant wait for the next book to come out . Anyhoo I personally loved this book and feel you should read it . Dont forget to get book 1 Immortally Cursed . Can a sassy, fiery dragon and a smokin'-hot dragon slayer have a happily ever after? So just to put it out there, this is the 2nd book in the series so if you haven't read Immortally Cursed stop and do not pass go!!!! Reading them in order is the way to go. Now I was so excited to get T.'s book because I ADORED her in the first one and I was not disappointed. Her and Zeke are a hot mess in the best way. I got a little annoyed with Zeke sometimes and his "whoa is me" attitude... but then again, I kind of understood. Their relationship from cyber lovers to IRL lovers is very entertaining. T's attitude is very flippant and quirky but you see how deeply she cares. Just like with the last book the secondary characters really help make the story what it is. My favorite "bad" character is Satan by 100000%. I know he's Satan but he's freaking hilarious.

Curse of the Dragon is Book 2 of S.A. Bayne's Immortally Cursed series. I struggled at first to become fully invested in the story. However, the action and plot move forward swiftly enough to make it an entertaining read. As with most of S.A. Bayne's books, the stars of this book are the dialogue and witty banter. If you've read Book 1, Immortally Cursed, you will find this a satisfying conclusion to Theresa and Zeke's romance. I enjoyed how this story separated Theresa from her best friend of almost 200 years and helped her figure out who she was on her own. My only quibble is that the BFF relationship from Immortally Cursed becomes a bit tattered - without one of the best friends even being there. Although further development was given to another strong female character (a Rivka - you'll have to read it to know what she is!), I hope that the close relationship between Theresa and Justine gets worked out in future books and they find a new status-quo now that they have additional partners. The romance is HOT, and I can't stress enough how remarkable this story is. There is no silly or annoying damsel-in-distress to be found! And then there's Satan. If you've read Not Quite a Devil, you will love his character and know just how fan-freakin-tastic he is. He steals the show in the third act, and his dialogue alone makes this book worth the purchase price. After reaching the end, I feel like the main character, Theresa, still has unfinished business. Can't wait to see what happens next!

She’s spent the last two centuries trapped indoors and Theresa Nichols is so over being stuck in dragon form, especially since she’s about to miss out on her one chance for love. So makes she a deal with Satan and she’s finally human, only everything starts to fall apart…the man she’s falling for is an ex-dragon slayer, her ex-lover from a couple centuries ago is stalking her and there’s a team of active dragon slayers hunting her down. Not only is there no chance for a dragon and a dragon slayer to make a relationship work but there’s no way she can protect the Goblet of Eternal Youth. The second book in the ‘Immortally Cursed’ series is as bright, funny and vividly passionate as the first but it also puts new meaning to the song “Crazy Thing Called Love!” It’s crazy, its zany, its super feisty and so energetic that keeps readers holding on the edge of their seat from beginning to end. The chemistry between Theresa and Zeke is electrical which keeps the pages singing with sparks and passion but this relationship is hits the rocks from the very first ‘in the flesh’ meeting and only gets more feisty and explosive from there. The plot is fast paced and full of non-stop action, excitement and laughs that keeps readers in stitches even while they bite their nails in suspense of just what will happen next. A whole host of wonderfully different, uniquely charming characters ensures that the readers can really get involved in the story and with stunning twists, fun and quirky elements, vivid imagery, this story is a diabolical delight.

I have been looking forward to reading Theresa’s story for what seems like forever! I loved this book so very much I didn’t want to put it down. Theresa is once again alone, guarding Mona by herself while her best friend enjoys her vacation. The person appointed to the task of keeping her fed and out of trouble has apparently forgotten about her and Zeke the man she met online is demanding to meet her in person. What’s a dragon to do? Make a deal with Satan, that’s what. When this deal is not as clean cut as Theresa first thought she must then figure out a way to give Satan what he wants and keep her job as guardian. Life is so complicated. A laughter out loud adventure that has a few surprising twists.

I have really enjoyed every book I’ve read by this author, and this latest is no exception. I loved Theresa from the moment she was introduced, and her getting her own book is fabulous. Zeke has a great personality that works really well with Theresa’s. They actually made a great couple, and their path to couplehood was really fun to watch. I did feel that the book went on a tad too long, and the conclusion was a tad too fast. However, this wasn’t a deal breaker as the writing, plot, and characters were just so much fun. Highly recommend this book, and I received a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
