Fourth and final book in the USA Today bestselling Magnolia Steele Mystery series.

Magnolia Steele has nothing left to lose. Her once-beloved father has been unmasked as a criminal, her mother is dead, and her two closest allies-her boyfriend and her sister-in-law-have broken her trust. Worse, the serial killer who has tormented her since her return to Franklin has escalated his behavior. Everyone around her encourages her to run away or hide, but Magnolia is determined stand her ground. She intends to identify the serial killer herself, even if she has to burn every last bridge to do it.

Her one lead is the apparent link between her father and the murders. Unsure of whom to trust, she forms a temporary alliance with a detective who's on the outs with the Franklin police force. Together, they dig into the past for clues, but Magnolia doesn't limit herself to secondary sources. Her father is still in town, very intent on a reunion, and her brother might finally be ready to talk about their shared past...

As the situation escalates, Magnolia discovers that she has inherited her mother's steel backbone. It will help her distinguish friend from foe, and it might just be her best hope for surviving her curtain call.

The book tied up all loose ends and brought the series to a complete ending. Very well done. Most of Denise's books are predictable, but she had me guessing to the end regarding the identy of the serial killer in this series. Enjoyable set of books, great author.

OMGosh! What a finale book to finish off this brilliant mystery series. There were still plenty of twists and turns to keep me captivated until the very end. Just when you think you have it all worked out, Ms Swank's devious mind sets us off thinking that maybe there was another angle to explore. I really felt for Maggie throughout the entire storyline, but more so in this book. She had to overcome some surmountable odds. I always thought she was a strong and dependable woman, even when she went to NYC, but she definitely upped the ante, few women could handle the pressure she was in. I was unsure of her choice of beau, and at first wasn't sold, but of course with the gift of her writing, Denise has me hooked on these two and I knew he was there for the right reasons. Some of the secondary characters had me spinning with their loyalty and I thought the killer could have been anyone. It all wraps up after a spine tingling last couple of chapters. I envy any new comer to this series, you have the luxury of reading these books from 1-4 without waiting a few months in between for any answers. This would be the best way to devour this collection. I highly recommend this assemblage of books, and quite frankly, any DGS book for that matter.

This excited heart pounding action filed conclusion to the Magnolia Steele series! I loved Magnolia and truly didn't want the series to end! But I was dying to find out who the Cabin killer was! As all the previous books, this book a nonstop thriller, who did it? Who can you trust? I was totally blown away. Denise did an incredible job with this series! I would totally call for an Encore!

I can't believe all the stuff packed into this book. I am sad to see the end of this series. There was a time in this book that I questioned everything I had read in the other books. I even accused on person I never thought could do it but through the questioning it became possible. I think this is a hang on for the ride book because I was amazed at the end. It was high impacted and you will wonder if you need to get out a board and pin point everything you have ever read. I loved every min of it.

And the curtain closes with a bang! As the final book in the series this wraps up all the remaining loose ends and questions that I've had throughout the first 3 books. Magnolia continues on her mission to find the truth and get justice. She grows throughout the series but remains strong and made of "steele", even when the answers she gets should destroy her. At one point I wasn't trusting anyone, questioning every little thing they said or did. I did not see IT coming. Fantastic book to close out the series. I'm sad to see Maggie go, but I am highly satisfied with this finale. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

Love this book! All of the loose ends that were left to cover in book three were neatly tied in a pretty little bow in Curtain Call. Denise has done it again. I couldn't put this book down, and I'm glad I didn't... It was full of surprises. In the midst of doubts and failures, Magnolia is becoming stronger and more independent as she discovers she has no one to trust or lean on. The love story just makes me swoon. And for the icing on the cake, the ending made me want an encore! Must read!

A standing ovation! I have to admit, I put off reading this book for such a long time because I knew all the crazy twists and turns would not only shock me, but keep me from putting the book down until I was completely done. I knew I should pace myself but after reading this book, I knew I was right! I couldn’t put it down until I finished and found out the ending. Once I thought I had something figured out, I changed my mind and couldn’t figure it out. Curtain Call is a fantastic ending to a superb mystery series. Magnolia hasn’t always been my favorite character but this series is one of my favorites because the mystery is just that amazing, and this conclusion solidified my belief. A standing ovation to Magnolia, Curtain Call, and Denise Grover Swank!!

An amazingly complicated, well crafted, emotional and spellbinding book that will keep you hooked and up all night. This last book in the Magnolia Steele series does an amazing job of wrapping up loose ends in a mystery that is so intricate you will be left questioning everyone and everything, but left completely satisfied by the end. While I will miss Maggie and crew, if it has to end, this is the way it should.

Curtain Call is everything you will expect from Denise Grove and more. You can’t put down the book until you find the truth in Magnolia’s story and the twists that you get leave you speechless. Sorry to know that the series is finished but I’m sure Denise Grove will come out with another great adventure.

The time has finally come to get all the answers to so many questions. Tired of running and hiding, Magnolia stands her ground and shows her inner strength. I wasn’t sure how Denise was going to tie up all the loose ends and cover all the bases but she did it nonetheless and it was AMAZING! So much happens. Plot twists keep you guessing until the very end. It was gripping, suspenseful, heartfelt, edge of your seat, can’t put it down, what in the actual hell just happened good!

Curtain Call could not have been a more perfect ending for the Magnolia Steele Mysteries! I’m truly sad to see it end after four books. I’m completely satisfied and honestly can’t think of anything to critique or major plot points left lingering. #coughLOSTcough. I believe Magnolia came into her own by facing the messes of her life head on. More than ever she didn't know who to trust, and it definitely took an emotional toll. I felt like I rode the biggest emotional roller coaster by the end, but in a good way! Normally I don't like romantic triangles, but there was enough up in the air that the ending on that front left me satisfied, too. I cannot recommend this series enough. *****FIVE STARS*****
