Eliza Lyons isn't interested in Craig Grant's attentions beyond the platonic. He's a playboy and boy does she know better. They lunch, they gossip, he tells her things about her current dates she doesn't want to hear and she thinks he'll never outgrow his playboy ways. Then Craig lays down the gauntlet and informs her he intends to show her what a real seduction is. At first Eliza believes it will be a piece of chocolate-y, delicious cake to spurn his advances until he shows her a side of himself she thought was an urban legend.

This playboy has a sincere romantic side. Who knew?

Eliza knows she has a bit more plump on her frame than Craig's normal tall, ultra-skinny type and decides to school Mr. Grant on the pleasures of a full figure. She is in it for the fun, the sex, the bragging rights. But when she discovers he wants more, will she take that final leap? Or will Eliza bolt right back to the comfort of the uncomplicated fling?

Curvys Cad is a 36,000 word m/f story with a sassy curvy woman and the debonair cad who wants her.

This was just a fun (hot) story about good friends who realize they might be WAY more than good friends! The whole tone of the book was light with sprinkles of "funny" throughout.  I especially enjoyed the humor of Eliza's interior monologues and streams of thought as she tried to figure out Craig. Speaking of Craig, he was absolutely adorable.  And relentless.  He was the perfect foil to highlight just how ridiculous Eliza was being at times, specifically in matters of the heart.   While the story did have conflict, it was low-stress, which I really enjoyed.  It matched well with the book's lightheartedness, and all I'll say is the boat scene was the perfect type of conflict for this story! Kristabel mentioned characters from other books in the series throughout this one, which made me want to read their stories too.  All in all, I think Kristabel did a fantastic job with Curvy's Cad! ***I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
