Guys like Ryker Russo don't notice girls like Jenna Armstrong.
Constantly on the move, Jenna doesn't want to settle down anywhere. As long as her latest motel room has a television, wi-fi, and a vending machine, she will make do. It isn't just Jenna's curves that make her self conscious. Beneath her clothes she hides a secret, one she is running from.
But when her car breaks down, leaving her without a mode of transport to get to the next town, mechanic Ryker seems to show an interest in her. With his muscles, tattoos, and piercings, Ryker has trouble literally written all over him. Jenna can't understand why he would want to be seen with a fat girl like her, and besides, she needs to keep moving.
Time is running out and she's terrified if she stays in one place, her past will catch up to her.

I would say this is a good, fast, fun read. There is a good balance between the suspense and the romance, and while things move fast in the romance department the course of it doesn't feel forced. The writing is engaging and the characters, especially Jenna, we're very relatable

Not the worst I've ever read, but close. Too much attention to weight issue...would have been better served to develop relationship between characters, stalker story line and find more believable scenarios.

I bought this book less than 24 hours ago and I just finished reading it. I could not put the book down. The characters are described so well I felt like I knew them. Many real life situations are thrown into this book and they all fit together perfectly. The effects alcohol has on people, bullying, love, terrifying situations to one character, lies. It's all there. I highly recommend this book. This definitely gets a 5 star rating from me.

This was a very entertaining story. It had romance along with a bit of danger and suspense along the way. Jenna finds herself broke down and needing assistance. Ryker comes along and is able to help her out. But he wants more from Jenna than just to fix her car. Jenna is curvy and can't figure out why a sexy good looking man like Ryker would be interested in her. They are both faced with danger when her ex gets out of jail and comes looking for her. The author did a great job with the storyline and character development. It keeps the reader interested from the beginning. I for one couldn't wait to see how Jenna and Ryker's relationship developed. The story also kept me on the edge of my seat a few times. Over all very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this book. I was given an ARC of this book to read for an honest review.

A must read book!! Jenna is on the run from her ex boyfriend and her cars breaks down in a small town. That is when she meets sexy mechanic Ryker. Ryker likes Jenna but she doesn't believe a sexy man like him would like a woman who is curvy. Ryker is determine to make Jenna see what he sees. I for one love it when the curvy woman gets the hot and sexy man. That is definitely one of the things that drew me to this book. This book has it all romance, suspense, and drama. Love this book!!

Cut Too Deep by Marissa Farrar is a combination of suspense and romance book. Jenna Armstrong is trying to get away from drunk boyfriend, Garrett. They went out for the evening and Garrett is extremely drunk. Jenna wants to drive home, but Garrett refuses. Jenna tries to walk away when Garrett bodily shoves Jenna into the car. Unfortunately, they get into accident. One year later Jenna is continuously traveling. She never stays in one place very long and avoids using credit cards. Car breaks down near Arlington (not the one in Virginia, but a small town) and gets assistance from mechanic and garage owner, Ryker. Ryker is attracted to Jenna, but Jenna cannot figure out why. Jenna has body image issues. She is curvy and voluptuous. Jenna only sees herself as fat thanks to Garrett. Garrett was always criticizing her and putting her down. Jenna also has a large scar running down her body from the car accident. Jenna is afraid to settle down for too long because Garrett will be getting out of jail soon and she knows that he will come after her. Jenna testified against him at the trial (along with a witness) and Garrett will want revenge. Getting to close to Ryker will jeopardize him as well as his little brother, Michael (Ryker is his brother’s guardian). I give Cut Too Deep 3.75 out of 5 stars. It is well-written but follows the standard “formula” for this type of book. Marissa Farrar is a very good writer and, if you love romance books, you will enjoy Cut Too Deep. I am a big fan of Marissa Farrar’s vampire books (The Serenity Series and Twisted Dreams). Please be aware that Cut Too Deep does contain foul language, sex scenes, and violence. I received a complimentary copy of this book from author in exchange for an honest review.
