When I was a fifth grade teacher, this book was our small group readings. When I gave them a "teaser" of the book, every kid in the class wanted to read it. Well, the kids absolutely loved this book (even when i had my kids draw a pictute of T-Bone in a costume. The pictures were halarious). From what I remember, the story centered around two boys who liked the same girl. Turns out that the girl actually had eyes for one of them but I won't tell who.

I really liked the book The Cybil War! My favorite chapter was ¿Two For the Show¿ when Tony¿s aunt¿s poodle was dressed up like a baby. The baby costume was great! What I disliked was the character Tony. He was always mean to Simon! I thought that it was sort of silly for Simon to have a museum of sad setences . Someone with a crush on another person might like this book.

I like the book,The Cybil war, because the characters are kind of nice. Cybil, Simon, and Tony are great because they are friendly and helpful. They show friendship just the same way that children do today. This story is a great one to have kids read. It is exciting because they get to be in plays and they get to go to the museum. This really is a great book to read for fun, and it is interesting to learn about great friendships between children.

A witty story about two best friends that are both in love with a girl named Cybil. As the two boys' fights get worse, they have to decide: what is more important? Love or friendship?
