Overview

Cynthia was a child with all the "right" qualifications - right family, right school, right upbringing. Cynthia, however, wanted more than marriage to another "right" person. After school, she struck out on her own, and found out just how helpful all those "right" connections were. In the process of learning to be what she wants to be, she finds herself in the midst of a civil war, captured by pirates, and abandoned on a planet that can be deadly to even the best-prepared person.
