My daughter loves to hold up her fingers as we count with Owen and his dad. The story is full of love and warmth. The pictures are adorable.

DADDY ALL DAY LONG is a fun-filled romp through a day during which Owen and his daddy play the 'more than' game that preschoolers enjoy so much. What child wouldn't like to have Daddy beat him out at describing how much he is loved? However much Owen loves Daddy ('more than chocolate milk,' 'more than seven scoops of ice cream,'), Daddy loves Owen even that much more. My preschooler delighted in the activities that Owen and Daddy enjoyed during their day together, as told through the energetic text and zesty illustrations of Rusackas and Burris. She also enjoyed the counting ('two pancakes,' 'three piggyback rides') aspect of the story. I loved that she was able, after only a few readings, to anticipate from the bright illustrations what Owen or Daddy would say next. An all-around fun read for both of us!

This is my son's (and my)favorite 'daddy' book, and one of his all-time favorites. Owen is such a cutie pie, with such yummy thoughts, how could anybody not fall in love with him?! It's a great cuddle book, and the counting adds another layer seamlessly.
