A nice 20-track collection of the two groups both led by James "Shep" Sheppard. "Daddy's Home" was the answer song by Shep and the Limelites to the Heartbeats' "A Thousand Miles Away," and some of the follow-ups that continued the story sequence are aboard here. Sheppard was one of the smoothest of all the doo-wop balladeers, and this collection is classic George Goldner (the group's producer) New York-style vocal group every note of the way. Extra bonus with some of the tracks being in true stereo, a rarity in doo wop records.
