Personal Note From The Author

As a first-time dad, I had no idea what awaited me in the first few months of fatherhood. Life was busy enough helping out my wife where I could, busting my butt at work, and trying to plan for our future. I had little time to talk, listen or read about becoming a dad. In hindsight, that was a mistake.

I should have made the time because so much happens so quickly and had I just been a tad prepared for the first few months, it would have been smooth sailing. Instead it took many months for me to find my groove. When my wife announced she was pregnant with our second child, I decided that I wasn’t going to wait this time around. So, I created this book to help my fellow man, a strategy that will give you the important things to know and some fun ideas you can do that will show you how to be that Super Dad you aspire to be.

About the Author

Father of two, Pete Densmore doesn’t consider himself an expert in parenthood by any means. He makes the same number of mistakes as every other parent and doesn’t have any fancy combination of letters after his name. However, the author has given much thought
about and learned through experience what makes a father an inspired parent. Equally important, he presents ideas that new fathers can use to keep themselves and their wives happy, and to help keep their marriages from suffering under the strain and demands of child-rearing. Densmore believes that anyone can be an inspired dad
as long as he wants to put the time, effort and heart into becoming one.

Reviewed by Darin Godby for Readers' Favorite Pete Densmore in his book, Dadspirations: The First 100 Days of Fatherhood, writes a wonderful piece of work, detailing how a father can make a difference in their newborn son or daughter life; as well as how their memories can be preserved for many years to come. Pete helps the reader see that things must be captured as soon as possible as most people will forget the exact details of those events within the life of their newborn baby. Through pictures, artwork, video, etc., things can be stored for many years to come. There are many more ways to be creative found within the book. When reading Dadspirations: The First 100 Days of Fatherhood, the reader will better grasp the need for creating those early bonding moments within the life of both child and adult. Both child and parent have to give of themselves on a daily basis in order to reap that which they have sown. Some of the implanting ideals found within the book are to write a letter to the child explaining what the parent feels about this newborn life. Maybe it's framing a picture to hang at work, supporting them in various sports, school, and church events and/or pushing them out of the nest so they will truly learn to fly without total support of their parent.
