This book is my favorite book in the dahveed series. It is full of culture, exciting battles, trust, friendship, love, and the power that God has. It is very descriptive and i couldnt put it down. Truly an amazing biblical story brought to glorious life that no other has compared. It has all the potential of becoming a beloved and true classic in the forseeable future!!

It is one of the best books I have read. Though the first two I think were better since they followed what was given in the Bible's narative. But this book and the one after it are still really good stories to read. Just becarful to keep track of her story verses the Biblical story. Amazing book.

This is the most amazing series of books. I have read all 3 and cannot wait until book 4 comes out in early November 2011. I would recommend it to anyone. They are so on the mark with facts and just enough added to it to bring it to life. You will feel like you are there and sharing in the experience. Terri Fivash has a true connection to our Heavenly Father and He has not only blessed her with this talent but us also because we are reaping the benefits of reading her books. I have also read "Joseph" and "Ruth and Boaz". You really need to read Ruth and Boaz first before the Dahveed series, it will set up many of the characters and story lines in the Dahveed series. Im reading the series for the 2nd time awaiting Dahveed 5 & 6. I so love the story lines & the intricate details woven in each story. These books also provide evidence of God's love and protection for His people. If He did it back then, He can & will do it again.....for little 'ole me!
