Nora Johanson travels from Norway to the Dakota Plains to marry Hans. Those plans turn painful. This book had several things I loved. One, children. Two, the Dakotas and Three, Love. The plot is simple but the characters are deep and the need even deeper. Even when things go bad, God has a plan. Even when things get worse, God has a plan. Even when things look impossible... You got it. God has a plan. I love how this story weaves God's desires into His people's lives. I look forward to the next book.
