This is Arima's second poetry collection. His narrative style of poetry Arima has created an unsympathetic eulogy to friends who have lost their lives on the street, mainly through AIDS and heroin.
This is a book of gritty, mature poetry about homelessness. It is street-wise, but without glorification or romantic airs about that life. As Arima says, "there's a lot of pain in the world, and I"m not cursed with empathy".
Toronto-based writer, Phlip Arima, a well-known and respected performance poet, has appeared on stages across Canada and in the United States.
