Damsel in a Dress is the 5th book in a paranormal mystery series, but it can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. This was my first time reading anything by Kirsten Weiss, but it won't be the last! I enjoyed the experience and didn't feel like I missed anything by jumping into the series at this point...
