Entertaining read. Less than 200 pages. One steamy scene but mostly focuses on the murder plot and the main characters developing feelings.

Nice story...love scenes overdone, tho

J: This is a great story! I enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters. The suspense was really good and it did keep me guessing. I will read another by this author, I like the writing style.

This book grabbed me from the first page and didn’t let go.  Romance, suspense, action, adventure and love. Another terrific tale from the fantastic Olivia Jaymes.  Hot heroes, smart heroines and a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Fantastic new series! Olivia brought new characters and a great story line in this new romantic/suspense. Hot neighbors, who done it, and hot sex. What more can you ask for. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Cute story. I guessed the villain, but that didn't bother me. Ms. Jaymes, you lost a star because of ignorance. Re: Gail - "She still had some arm strength even at sixty-five." Are you an idiot? Do you really think 65 is weak and doddering and in need of assisted living???? I am not 65 yet, but I know many people far older with more strength and stamina than I have at a younger age. It's insulting. If you ever do a rewrite, please, make Gail at least 78. Sheesh.

I couldn't get past the first couple of chapters, and I almost never give up on a book or an author. Writing was quite stilted, which definitely trickled down into the characterization. I was re-writing every third sentence in my head, and if I can do that it means it would have been REALLY easy for an editor to do the same thing. I'd be surprised if the author had any editorial guidance, but I hope she looks into it for any future projects. I can't speak to the plot or the romance as I unfortunately couldn't stick around long enough for them to develop very far.
