The Rodeo label's Dance Classics series appeals most to fans of 12" and otherwise extended mixes of club singles. Many of the selections are otherwise unavailable or hard to find on compact disc. A fair portion of the tracks are mastered from vinyl, so the series won't get much love from audiophiles, and the packaging leaves a lot to be desired as well. Dance Classics, Vols. 37 & 38, a double-disc set, includes Skipworth & Turner's "Won't Get No Better," Stephanie Mills' "(You're Puttin') A Rush on Me," El DeBarge's "Who's Johnny," and Gwen McCrae's "All This Love That I'm Giving."
