Her quirky assignment: solve a famous cold-case mystery for a magazine article. Then the killer reawakens.

Offbeat writer Kenny Rubin lands a freelance job to figure out who killed actress Melinda Rivers five years earlier. And she's supposed to do it before the airing of a TV movie on the same subject.

Many of the people involved in the filming knew Melinda, and one might be the murderer. As Kenny investigates, people start dying around her. Will she be next?

She has another tough challenge: bipolar disorder makes her perceptions unreliable. Will she recognize the killer before she plays right into his hands?

DANGER MUSIC is a fun mystery filled with diverse and interesting characters. The characters make the story, and Diamond skillfully develops each personality. The protagonist is an amateur sleuth who somehow finds herself more involved than intended. As she delves deeper into the mystery, the main character battles her own set of problems. Her personal struggles give this story a unique slant. Her issues were foreign to me personally, but I found it easy to sympathize with her. DANGER MUSIC kept me entertained from beginning to end. This story will likely appeal to those who enjoy a good character-driven cozy mystery. Review disclosure: I received a free ebook copy in exchange for an honest review.
