Jamie Douglass found it infuriating -- being attracted to sexy, arrogant Dan Reese when he was her instructor, sure she couldn't cut it at a super-secret spy agency.

But she made it -- earning the right to work along side him.
Only after she nearly got blown up on assignment in London did Dan finally admit he wanted her, too.

Jamie gets one steamy kiss and a promise of a date for breakfast the next day before their world falls apart.

By morning, one agent is dead, Dan is fighting for his life, and Jamie has to try to figure out what happened -- as she wonders if she and Dan will ever get a chance to be together.

About the Author

Teresa Hill is a USA Today Bestselling Author whose books have been translated into eight different languages and sold in many more countries than she’s had the opportunity to visit. (So not fair.)

Growing up on a farm in Kentucky, she was a Daddy’s girl and a tomboy. She learned to drive on a tractor and loved to climb trees.

Her mother warned that one day – when she wanted to have pretty legs for boys -- she’d be sorry about all her scrapes and scars. But she has no regrets -- not even about the time she got a fishhook stuck in a very sensitive area or ended up seeing her own kneecap. (Not on an X-ray.)

Her husband found her while they were both working their way through college. (He was her boss.) She remembers thinking so clearly, “What are you doing here? You’re much too early. I have things to do.” But she couldn’t just tell him to go away and come back later, so she married him. He never tried to keep her from doing anything.

She wanted to live by the ocean, so after college, she sent resumes to a dozen coastal cities between Virginia Beach and New Orleans. It worked! She wrote her first novel on a little island off the South Carolina coast.

She and her husband now share their home – a brick ranch (for him) with a view of the mountains (for her) -- with a collie, a German shepherd and a 20-pound cat who informs her it’s time to stop working by plopping down on her keyboard. (He doesn’t care if her hands are still on it.)

She believes everything in life – the good or the very bad -- is better with someone you love, which is why she writes love stories.?

Dangerous To Love by Teresa Hill is the second book in her Spies, Lies & Lovers series and I strongly recommend you to read the first book in the series even though everyone keeps saying that they are all stand alones … Well, they sort of are as every book has their own independent story BUT the characters, they are connected and you want to know those connections! I was waiting impatiently for the book after I had finished the first book. I wanted to know Jamie and Dan’s story! So, Dangerous To Love is an exciting spy romance and our couple is Jamie Douglass (whose brother was the hero of the first book) and Dan Reese (who we also briefly met in the book one). Oh my, talk about something long time coming! Jamie has been infatuated/hated/obsessed with Dan since she was a recruit and he was her instructor. He pushed her hard, much harder than the guys in her class but she did understand that it was for her sake … Dan never let Jamie know that he is attracted to her as well, until she almost dies while on an assignment … so you would think that now they will get together and live happily ever after BUT this is a SPY romance so we need to have all kind of intrigues with unexpected turns and I promise you, you will be looking forward to the third book AND if you did NOT read the first one before starting on this one … you will be reading it to make the time go faster …

A fast paced story full of romance and intrigue. Dan was Jamie's instructor at a super-secret spy agency. Not fast forward when they meet up again on an assignment, a super sexy kiss and plans to meet the next morning. The meeting never took place, Dan is injured not knowing if he will ever be the same. Jamie wants to stand by his side but he makes it well known that this is not going to happen. Soon the tables change and Jamie is injured and Dan finds himself loving her even more. Plenty of spies and criminals that will keep you turning the pages.

Tense plot from beginning to the end like the characters, especially Jamie, who loved her instructor. His goal was to make her strong, inside and out, to with stand the missions she would have, and being a female. When a bomb took lives, Dan finally admitted, he also did this to keep his interest in her concealed. A stolen moment, then everything breaks lose, awaiting the next book. Readers will enjoy this series, a touch of romance, and the missions they do.
