Dare to Kiss a Cowboy by Renee Roszel

He knew her as the sister of thief

Thanks to her brothers foolishness, Anna Andrews has no choice but to face Dusty Dare and make an offer hes likely to refuse. Or worse, hell simply toss her out the window. Anna has faced rejection before, but Dusty Dares hatred for the whole Andrews clan flashes in his eyes. In the presence of this forbiddingyet captivatingman, Anna yearns to break and run, but she has no other way to save her brother from jail and right his wrong.

Dusty Dare, half Cherokee, is the owner of the most successful cutting horse ranch in Oklahoma. Hes not convinced that any woman can help run his ranch, but when his stable manager disappears, hes forced to hire Anna. They both know that training his horses wont be easy. And Anna knows it will be even more difficult to recover the prized carving her brother stole. As Anna spends more time with Dusty, their chemistry starts to heat up. It becomes painfully clear that Dusty Dare is the type of man her mother always warned her about: a firecracker. She knows all too well that getting close enough to touch is bound to burn!

This was a cute little romance. It's about 140 pages long, and has a nice story to it. I wish I could give it a 3.5 because it really was enjoyable and I will look up further books from this author.

I've been a big fan of Renee Roszel's books and it's a pleasure to see Dare to Kiss a Cowboy in ebook format. The sparks fly between Anna Andrews and Dusty Dare when she shows up at his ranch to convince him not to call the police on her brother, Steven, who has stolen something valuable from Dusty. She offers to work for Dusty as a cutting horse trainer while she tries to convince Steven to bring back the valuable sculpture. Dusty doesn't think he can trust anyone named Andrews and she has a hard time controlling her temper and her mouth which only adds to the conflict. This book is heartwarming, emotional, and funny and I recommend it highly.

Dare to Kiss a Cowboy By Renee Roszel Harlequin Back to the Ranch Multi-Author Series  Anna Andrews needs to fix her brothers mess, again. When she goes to ask the man her brother stole from for a job and a grace period for her brother, she finds a hard, cold and extremely handsome man. A fireworks man, like her dad, a man she promised her mom she'd stay away from.  Bent River Ranch is run by the Dare brothers, top notch cutting-horses. Dusty Dare is a tough man to work for. Proud of his Cherokee roots and his horses. Unsure about letting the petite beauty whose brother stole a prized and irreplaceable possession from him, he gives in and gives her a chance.  What a great story. I started reading and couldn't stop. Anna has trusty Thad, the type of man her mom would want her to have, even if there's no love. Her heart prefers the dark and broody Dusty, but memories of the dad she never knew keep her fearful. I enjoyed the different characters and the horse training as well.

Well written, nice emotional depth, well thought out, and the characters have real-life personalities! Loved every page of it. I stayed up until 4am just to finish reading it! I can tell you that the atmosphere created by the author is very realistic. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good love story.

I really enjoyed this book. Funny and touching. This is the first book I've read by this author but it won't be my last.

Ah - love the conflict and the potential for either disaster or a stormy romance and won't reveal the end though many can maybe guess - but you keep reading because it is delightful humor and realistic conflict.

I like all things cowboy and Dusty is all that for sure.  Even tho you know they will end up together it was fun seeing how.  Enjoyed the book and will look for more like it.

A charming little story that made for an enjoyable evening's read. I have never read any of this author's work but I will check out some of her other books. Though I really prefer sexy stories, and this book didn't have anything beyond a hot kiss, I still felt the sexual tension between Dusty and Anna. But I wish they'd 'done it.' :-) Recommended!

Some cute scenes that made me chuckle. This author is good with humor, and her characters talk and act in a believable way. I love cowboys, so this was right up my alley. Good story.

I've read a lot of Ms Roszel's romances, and I continue to enjoy her writing style. Though I'm not as big a fan of cowboy stories as I am other stories, this was a very enjoyable read, and I learned something about ranch life and Native American powwows It is a sweet romance without overt sexual content, but still very 'romantic'.
