She has always been his dream...

Chef Serafina Rochan believes her recurring nightmares of pursuit are a symptom of her anxiety about opening her second restaurant. But when the stalker appears in the waking world, she swallows her pride and calls the one man she trusts to go into her dreams, even if it means risking her heart.

When Marshal Harlen Fawkes receives Sera's call, nothing else matters. Time has not eroded the power of his feelings for her. After years apart, they go Darkside together and cannot resist the longing and desire their connection evokes. The past and present collide, and Sera abandons all reservations to embrace Harlen again, if even for one night.

In order to protect her, Harlen aligns himself with disavowed friends, and in so doing is drawn deeper into the secrets and perils of the dreamwaters. As the tide of darkness rises, Harlen faces his demons...but not without Sera, who fights just as fiercely for the dream of a life together.

Dream dangerously.

Darksider is the 3rd book in the Reveler series.  The more I read from this series, the more addicted I get.  This series is unique and terrifying. I’m afraid to go to sleep!  With Darksider we learn more about the dream world, known as the Reve.  Erin Kellison is a talented author and story teller. The Reve world is fascinating but twisted and each book is fast paced.  But in Darksider I wish there was more attention given to Sera and Harlen’s relationship. They were former lovers so I wanted to know more about their back story.  And I felt their reunion in Darksider was rushed and isn’t complete.  So hopefully the author will write more on these characters. Darksider ended in a dramatic cliffhanger so I can’t wait to read more in this series. I recommend this series to all adult paranormal fans.

Book Three in the Reveler Series. Harlen finally gets his own book!  When Sera has finally had enough of the mysterious man following her in both her dreams and reality, she calls on her former lover to help her.  Harlen could never turn down Sera, so he rushes to her apartment and is immediately sucked back to the times when they were together.  However, there are dark things happening on the other side of the Dreamscape that cannot be ignored. Holy Cliffhanger!  If you're looking for another darkly fun read, this is the book for you.  Just know that it DOES end with a major cliffhanger.

Sexy, dark, and edgy. Just my cup of tea. I really enjoyed this story. It took me by surprise, but I was hooked right from the beginning. I was immediately swept up in the world Ms. Kellison has created and absolutely loved the concept. The premise is fresh and original and kept me totally involved from beginning to end. The idea of dream sharing sounds so cool. That's what happens in Darkness Falls. Jordan only wants to protect her sister, Maze, so she agrees to go to the Reve with her and enter into the dreamscape. I won't go into any more than that you'll have to read to find out what it's like.  The descriptions were great, and just so you know, like the real world, the dream world needs policing. That's where our mysteriously sexy Malcom Rook comes in as he hunts for the perfect talents for recruiting to work for the Chimera when he encounters the beautifully gifted Jordan Lane.  As a side note, I must admit I found myself crushing on Rook from the very beginning. I recommend this book to lovers of paranormal and stories about dreams. You won't be disappointed. Darkness Falls gets 5 stars from me.

4.5 stars I received an ARC of this book from the Publisher, via Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review. This is the 3rd book in the Reveler series, reviews of the previous entries: Darkness Falls (Which I found in an anthology) Lay Me Down All the books are right around 100 pages, the first one you can still get for free on Amazon, but the other two are 2.99. I am going to admit flat out here, I am getting a little frustrated with the novella thing. I flat out adored Darkness Falls, it got me hooked into this world, but I expected that to have been a teaser/taste of the world, and not to be the format for subsequent stories. I really want a meatier more involved story. As far as reviewing, it's hard to do with these because you give so much away of the previous books and the surprise of finding out about the world. So, if you haven't read the previous stories and you don't want to be spoiled, stop right here and go back and read at least the first story, which is FREE. Now, on to the meat of it. Serafina Rochan is a chef dealing with the stress of opening a second restaurant and what she initially thinks are just nightmares. She's a type A aggressive personality who tries to deal with this on her own until she finds out her nightmares are a little more dangerous than she thought. She despises Reve and so she wants nothing to do with Chimera Agent Marshal Harlen Fawkes, her ex who was with her for her introduction to Reve. Marshall is having his own troubles with the Reve as his best friends, and heroes from the previous two stories, Malcom and Steve (along with Jordan and Maisie the heroines) are on the run from Chimera due to the events of the preceding book where they discover wide spread corruption in the organization. Since this is a second chance trope, it works slightly better in the novella format than I think Lay Me Down did. Darksider is just as action packed, mysterious and adventurous as Darkness Falls and it carried the story arc of the corruption in Chimera and the Reve well. However, there was definitely more of a cliff hanger ending on this one. I'm avidly waiting for the 4th book to come out 07/14/2014.

Marshal Harlen Fawkes gets his turn to shine in book 3 of the Reveler series. He’s reunited with an old flame, Sera, when she sees in the waking world a man who’s been stalking her in dreams for the past year. While Harlen promises to help Sera find this man, he’s also been asked to help Rook, Coll, Jordan and Maisie who have discovered deception and danger deep within Chimera. Harlen really shines in this story, and the suspense and craziness expands in this book. Reading the Reveler series is like watching your favorite sci-fi show – good drama, suspense, action, and romance. I cannot eat this series up fast enough. Darksider leaves us with a dramatic cliffhanger, so onto book 4 I go! Copy gifted by the Publisher in exchange for an honest review

A Great book Sarafina Rochan is a chef that is about to open her second restaurant and she is sure that is the reason behind her recurring nightmares of pursuit. Soon she has to swallow her pride when a stalker appears in the waking world. She has to risk her heart to call the one man she trusts to go into her dreams. Harlen Fawkes is a Marshal and when he receives Sera’s call nothing else matters to him. The power of his feelings for her have not eroded with time. When they go Darkside together their connection evokes their longing and desire for each other even after years apart. Sera abandons all her reservations to embrace Harlen even if it is only for one night as the past and present collide. Harlen aligns himself with disavowed friends so he can protect Sera even though by doing so he is drawn deeper into the secrets and perils of the dreamwaters. Harlen faces his demons with Sera who is determined to fight just as fiercely for the dream of a life together as the tide of darkness rises. This is proving to be an amazing series that is very different. It is filled with action and suspense and makes for series that is hard to put down. With each book the world building gets more complex and fuller and makes for story that comes alive with each word that is read. It will be interesting to see where the next book takes readers and just where this series is going to end up at. Readers that enjoy paranormal romances should check this one out.

Darksider is book 3 of the Reveler series by Erin Kellison. It tells the story of Chef Serafina Rochan and Marshal Harlen Fawkes. Sera is having nightmares about a stalker. Which she puts off as being work stress until she see her dream stalker outside of her dreams. Scared she contacts an old love Marshal Harlen Fawkes. Harlen still in love with her drops everything and rushes to help her. The characters had good chemistry together. Though I would have liked a little more back story on them. I think it would have brought the story together more. They felt a little bit like they were less important to the story it's self. I did enjoy the over all story and look forward to the cliffhanger being resolved. I liked all the mystery, passion, intrigue, danger and even a little betrayal that happens thru out the story. The writing is great. It captures your attention from page one and takes you on a wicked ride. Great story. This book is a must read for sure. I highly recommend this book and series!!! The Reveler Series includes eight parts: Darkness Falls (Reveler 1) Lay Me Down (Reveler 2) Darksider (Reveler 3) Night's Deep Hush (Reveler 4) Bring Me A Dream (Reveler 5) Delirium (Reveler 6) The Sandman (Reveler 7) The Scrape (Reveler 8) ***Gifted with ARC copy**** L.

Now finished the first 3 books in this series, and am loving it, feel as if still reading book 1 and it flows so well, almost like reading it realtime where one book ends the next one starts. I like the fact that the 3 couples relationships are ongoing and not squared off at the end of their respective books. "This book was gifted in exchange for an honest review"

Deeper into danger... Oh boy, this series has its hooks in me! This book was really fast paced! More things are revealed, but will leave you wanting more with the way it ends. After being stalked for almost a year, Sera finally decides she needs some help and swallows her pride to call her ex Harlen. Who is after her? What is going on within Chimera? So much happens within such a short tale! I loved seeing the characters from before and meeting some new ones... Learning about Harlen and his ability... Great character interaction! Can not wait to read book 4, I want more!

Gifted for an honest review. Reveler Series is quite a ride. Erin Kellison in the third installment Darksider has again taken her reader on an adventure of dreams and nightmares. Sere is being stalked in her dreams but when that stalker appears in the waking world she only knows of one person to help. Marshall Harlan Fawkes is a past love but also a part of the dream police "Chimera". With his help, and the help of his friends we met in the the first two series, Sere might have a chance. Kind of a cliff hanger on this one but... these are short reads and easy to go on to the next installment.

Book 4 of the Revelers series does not disappoint. I actually think I like this one the best of the three. The world is established, the villain is established, and the character is dealing with some legitimate side effects/issues to their abilities/activities. With each being a novella, they're quick reads with resolutions, but hinting at what comes next. I look forward to book 4 after the epilogue in book 3. Copy received in exchange for honest review.

Excellent addition to this wonderful series. Sera has been having recurring nightmares and when her stalker shows up in the real world there is only one person she trusts to allow into her dreams. Harlen drops everything to go to Sera, will their past get in the way of finder her stalker? Great read, lots of mystery and intrigue in this paranormal world where a nightmare can become all too real. Fast paced and I loved the chemistry between Harlen and Sera. Loved it!

Part 3 of the series, this comes at the situation from a new angle, with a new pairing of main characters. It builds nicely on the previous books, but has its own distinct storyline. The concept of lucid dreaming has certainly inspired an original and captivating series. Looking forward to reading the next installment. Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review.

As with each of the books in this series so far, I feel like this would make one creepy and interesting movie. They really make me think about what it would be like if people could be in others dreams for real. While it would be a interesting thing it is also scary at the same time. The author has created a story that keeps you coming back for more and more. I look forward to seeing where this series goes in future books.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book in the series. In this one we follow Marshal Harlen Fawkes as he receives a call from an old girlfriend Sera Rochan needing his help. At first she thought she was having nightmares until her stalker showed up in real life. She needs his help to catch him in Dreamscape and get him to leave her alone. Sera is a fantastic chef trying to open her second restaurant and really doesn't need this to deal with at all. She waited a long time to call him but he comes over right away. They will need to go to Dreamscape for him to be able to track her stalker. Harlen also needs to help his friends Koll and Rook at the same time. Harlen and Sera sink into lucid dreaming and go to Dreamscape to try and identify her stalker and meet up with Koll and Rook as well.So for now where ever Harlen goes so will Sera until they catch her stalker both in Dreamscape and in reality as well as he's also going to help his friends as well as her. Lots of ups and downs and twists and turns as they go hunting. I really enjoy this series and am looking forward to the next book.

*Copy was provided for honest review* So let's just say I love every book more and more in this series. Erin spins a tale of lust, love and excitement and keeps you hanging for more. This novel ends on a cliffhanger which I love and hate, I love being left on the edge but in this series I keep screaming out for more.  I love the feel of the chemistry between Harlan & Sera. I hate a real love and hate for Harlan but it ended more on a high.  I love the story line, characters and plot line. Erin is fantastic and I cannot wait for more. I am becoming very addicted and invested in this series.

When his ex-girlfriend, Serafina, calls for help, Marshall Harlan Fawkes doesn't hesitate.  Sera, reluctant to call Harlan for help, sees the man in real time who has been haunting her dreams for the past year and knows it's time to call in Chimera operative, Harlan.  Now she knows her stalker is real and not just a figment of her dreams, Sera knows she needs the kind of help that he can provide.  While danger stalks Serafina, Harlan is under suspicion by Chimera because of his association with Steve and Rook, who have disappeared and are now wanted by Chimera.  Steve and Rook are on the run with Maisie and Jordan, and need Harlan's help, which will put his job and perhaps his life in jeopardy.  Harlan insists on putting Serafina first, but finds things are not as clear-cut as they seem.   I loved the story of Harlan and Serafina, the worldbuilding is totally awesome and has immense potential for exciting things to come.   The twists and turns in the plot were thrilling to follow, and the danger darkside is getting more intense.  Although a shorter story, it was definitely full of excitement.  I can't wait to see where this series is going next, and hope to see more of Harlan and Sera.  (Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review.)

I really enjoyed Book 3 in this series, since it continued to enthral me and my mind was captivated by all the different plots occurring. A new twist to the story introduces Harlen’s past love, Serafina, who because of her nightmares involving a stalker, finally succumbs and asks Harlen for help. But this in itself is thwart with danger when he comes into contact with corrupt members of Chimera. Although this book deals primarily with Harlen and Serafina’s rekindled love, the Scrape and its creatures once again come into focus, as well as the other characters from the previous books. To understand the story completely Books 1 and 2 need to be read first. Erin has put together an extremely complex story, but nevertheless it is totally absorbing and mind-blowing. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The story is evolving. I like how each book entangles all of the main characters together. You get the story of each character and how their story relates to all of the other characters. I am still a little confused about the terminology being used. The story does keep me reading and wanting to the finish the book and read the next book. Wake me up in this world!  Once I started this series I couldn't put the first two books down, however, this book didn't have the same feeling as the others. Perhaps it was the fact that it introduced two completely different characters, well, one, because our hero here has actually made a few appearances in the other books but still, it just felt a bit disconnected, particularly at the beginning.  So, per the blurb we know Marshal Harlen Fawkes,Chimera agent receives a call from Chef Serafina Rochan because she thinks one of her nightmares has followed her to the waking world, that is, her nightmare escaped her dreams and is now haunting her while she is awake. They haven't seen each other in years and Sera is not so sure calling him was a good idea but knows that if anyone can help her it would be him.  Harlen accepts to help her but knows that in doing so he most likely would fall for her again but he's ok with that because he never stop having feelings for her. Except there is little variable that he wasn't counting on when he agreed to help her. Rook, Jordan, Maze, and Coll, that is, our couples from the first two books are on the run and need Harlen's help in order to clear their names, bring the bad guys to justice, and find out what exactly is going on in the Darkside/Reve world and Chimera as it too may be compromised.  Like I mentioned before, the feeling of this book is different to me but I think it had to do with the main characters. There wasn't that much depth to them per se and the chemistry between them didn't work much for me. Sera used to be part of shared-dreaming studies when she was in college and knew fully well her way around the dream world. I didn't understand why she called Harlan if she was that capable of handling Reve in the first place. The rest of the plot as usual was on point. There is even a face off between Jordan and Sera that let us see how strong both women are and how relentless they both can be. Coll is his usual cool-hand Steve and Rook is his usual charming self; Maze is, well, her bright and full of life Maze. And when she worries, she worries. I'm not much for cliffhangers but because I love these stories so much and because I didn't have to wait for the next book to come out, I'm not going to complain about this one either. 4.5 stars but close to 5.  *I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review via Netgalley*

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. This story focuses on Harlen and Sera (short for Serafina). Sera has been having trouble sleeping for over a year as a stalker has been entering her dreams. She has been able to deal with it for so long but now exhaustion is catching up with her and she also sees her stalker in 'real' life. So she decides to call in Harlen, a man from her past who she used to travel in the Darkside with. Harlen still has feelings for her and is not impressed with her stubbornness in not contacting him straight away but puts that aside as he tries to help her. Rook and Jordan, Coll and Maisie all make an appearance here as the overall story arc continues. Erin Kellison has managed to give Harlen and Sera a story as well as continuing with the others. This is part of a series and as such, you will need to read the other books in order to get the benefit from them. However, this series is just getting better and better so I can definitely recommend you give them a try.
