Book 2 follows the continuing challenges facing several young women during the war between Japan and China. As the Communists and Nationalists grudgingly unite to defy the Empire of Japan, our female soldiers struggle to resist and understand the nature of total war. From the bio-toxin development plants in captured China to the savage nature of men at war, these fighting females tell the tale of the Chinese holocaust. Historians differ on the numbers but somewhere between 30 and 60 million people were killed in China between 1937 and 1945. Against tremendous odds these women fight back and join their fellow Chinese defeating Imperial aggression and reclaiming their homeland.
