Overview

Many years ago, ten-year-old Emily was murdered, along with her father. She has spent the intervening years haunting the old ancestral home, alone and lonely. The tragedy of seeing her father die, along with her years of seclusion in the old house, have affected her mind over the decades, as she wandered the empty halls of her home. Now, strangers have come to the old house, and are taking that home that she believes is rightfully hers.

It's playtime for Emily...

This latest novel from Jim DeVault is a thoughtful, and offbeat ghost story, told with suspense, a little horror, and more than a touch of his own brand of dark humor.
