Overview

Set in a brutal barbaric world full of swords, sorcery, dragons and other dangerous beasts, two young women from completely different backgrounds must find their true purpose in life.... unknown to them that both their perfect worlds will soon collide and collapse around them, thrusting them onto perilous journeys.

One of the women known as Darna is a cunning warrior with blood red hair whose adopted family is violently murdered right in front of her eyes as they travel along the open road to Courjay. She is left alone with only her closest and most loyal friend Skye, a magical blue Unicorn known as an Urkall, who has the ability to transform at will into a humanoid. Together, they must set out on a fascinating journey to seek out an ancient Goddess who will forever change their lives and those around them.

The second woman, a beautiful princess with golden hair who lives in perfect harmony in the great city of Courjay; a bountiful rich city in the very heart of the midlands, is about to become its next queen. However, her wicked stepbrother has other plans.... he wants the crown for himself and if he gets it, he could threaten a thousand years of peace!

Join these two women if you dare on their separate adventures as they each meet a whole assortment of strange people and fascinating beings; some with un-imaginal powers. A few will aid them on their quests while others may seek only to destroy them... but who can they trust on the journey to discovery?

Find out what happens when the red-haired warrior discovers the captivating Goddess Allena who gifts her with enchanted weapons. One in particular, an ancient sword that lives on the very blood of men.... known as Manslaught!

About the Author

David was born in north London on April 1971. His mum has Irish, German, and English in her and his dad is half English and half Greek. He lived in London for 11 years before moving to Cheshunt with his parents. There, he was educated in Turnford school. He started work in Tesco as a Supervisor. Then, after two years was placed on the trainee management program where he worked in every single department of a large superstore for two years. After this, he was promoted to a stock-control manager where I took care of seven members of staff and was responsible for every piece of stock in the store. After ten years in the store, he decided to improve his knowledge and skills even more by moving to head office; where he worked on the support desk and various other departments for a further 18 years. During all that time, he wrote many training documents and manuals for Tesco staff members all over the world regarding the Tesco ordering systems. Not long after that he was made redundant, so I went through that worrying phase of what do I do with his life. Then, he realised he would finally have a chance to live out his dream and go back to writing books. He was always interested in writing stories as a child.
