About the Author
Leslie Birkland is renowned for being the woman who went from welfare to the reality hit show, Big Rich Texas. She attributes her modeling career to her stepfather, Duane. Being on magazine covers and getting paid for it was nice, but it was immersing herself in diverse cultures around the world that changed her life and gave her an appreciation for all people.

Recently, she completed a program and is now a certified Wellness Coach, specializing in Holistic Medicine in hopes of finding natural ways to slow down the dementia spiral.
Currently, Leslie travels between her two homes in Canyon Lake, California, and Seattle, Washington. She is the mother of three grown boys.
