I just spent most of the day reading this excellent book to better familiarize myself with my new camera, and I couldn't be more pleased! Not only does David give you a basic intro to the camera in easy to understand language, but he also gives you insight into WHY you would use certain settings and menu options. As a beginner, this is SO nice! This book is 100% more user-friendly than the instruction manual that comes with the camera (which by the way is on cd-rom). Within minutes, I was able to take some beautiful shots of my 16 month old son, who is always on the move. I spent a couple hours at B&N with several books on my camera, and this one was by far the best! I am thrilled with what this book will be able to teach me, as I experiment with my great new camera!
Very informative book. Glad I purchased this learning book.
