This book really just irritated me and I struggled to finish it. If you enjoy Scoobie Doo Mysteries then this is for you. A bunch of fools randomly running around trying not to get caught by some bad guy. The plot was pretty hard to believe and a few key phrases were repeated until I wanted to throw up. Does this author have a foot fetish? It's predictable with page after page of seriously shallow and boring sex scenes. The whole book is shallow. I couldn't connect with the characters because there wasn't anything to connect with! The climax of the book was wrapped up in about 2 paragraphs. Plus corny lines to the hilt! Topped off with the author's annoying habit of the main character asking herself question, after question after question..."Would it be possible to make the offer work? Could I have both *** and *** at the same time? Was that what I wanted?" or.. Is this just a fling? Could it be a fling? Is it still a fling? Do I want to stay a fling ... OMG shut up! The book ended with what was supposed to be a major cliff hanger but it was so predictable that I just didn't care by the end of it. I will not be reading the next book because I want my life back. Seriously, this is just lame. I should have known better than to ready anything from someone named "Lacey Silks".

**I received this ARC from Netgalley and MyLit Publishing in exchange for an honest review** This is a difficult one for me to rate. An interesting tale with spicy bedroom action and enough suspense to keep you engaged. Lacey Silks does an excellent job with her love scenes, while not bdsm they are very kinky and I enjoyed them... even the f/f and m/f/f moments that might normally be a turnoff. I really enjoyed Gabe. He is the ultimate sexy alpha male, with a sad past thrown into the mix. I wanted him to be happy and healed. I was rooting for Sam and Gabe through the whole book. And Sam... I liked her for Gabe but at times, I felt she might be a bit naive and perhaps a little too understanding about Kendra (who drove me bonkers btw). She just was just a character in the book to me, I really didn't have any strong feelings for her. Dazzled by Silver is a fast paced book that covers a lot of ground. At times, it seemed like I was missing things or they were moving too quickly. But overall, I enjoyed the story and am glad for the opportunity to have read it.

3.5 stars. Okay read. A little hokey and juvenile at times. Entertaining enough but I could never understand from what I read how Sam became so special or "the one" which made the no strings attached affair to a marriage proposal a little unrealistic to me. Also, I did not like the sex between two women scenes -- gross!

** 3.5 stars **  I was fairly excited to get started on Dazzled by Silver. It had been a while since I'd read a straight-up erotic romance. I say a while, but it had been close to three weeks, and that's about two weeks too long, in my opinion. ;-) So did Dazzled by Silver meet my expectations? I didn't really have expectations other than some good lovin', but yeah, it did. The author jumped straight into the action - in more ways than one - and the story was interesting from beginning to end. I sometimes worry about novellas having good balance in story and pacing, but this was not an issue in Dazzled. The pacing was steady, and the story was very balance, having just enough but not too much going on. Dazzled by Silver is mostly told through Samantha's point-of-view, but also Gabe's. I liked Sam. She was confident in herself and her body, and after coming off a bad relationship, was ready to take what she wanted. Sam is looking for a no-strings relationship with a man, but is also attracted to her best friend, Kendra. Now, this would be awkward except that Kendra is very attracted to Sam as well. The two do get physical and I won't lie, this made me a little bit uncomfortable at first, and that's just stupid, because I read books with M/M all the time. I didn't like Kendra that much, but I did like that the two were open with each other. I did like Gabe a lot. He was confident without being arrogant or a jerk. He has his issues, but I like that they didn't completely take over the story. As I said before, the sexy was good. And plentiful. I didn't take over the story, but it most certainly did enhance it. Dazzled by Silver did end on a cliffhanger. Not one that drove me insane, but one that did leave me wanting to read the next story to find out what happens next.

I came across this by accident and I am glad I did. It was a really good story. It had me on my toes and it was really HOT too. For once there is an actual story with the sex. I have purchased the next book in the series and cannot wait to see what happens.

The hot parts were hot and there was very few cold parts in the book. Sam is just coming out of a bad, sexually unfulfilling relationsh8ip and she meets Gabriel who is tending bar at a club where she just comes to have casual sex. She later finds out that Gabriel is a big time private investigator who was just helping to look after Kendra (one of his friends who is in trouble). Both Sam and Gabriel say that they don't want a relationship, but they end up in one anyway. I really liked Gabriel's character. I love that he is hot, manly, self assured, and dominant but he still comes off as an all around nice guy. Sam seems to be too naïve at some points, especially for a girl who is up for casual sex. She sleeps with Kendra then goes to Gabriel and I thought that they all just got along with this a bit too easily. Gabriel even sends Sam to seduce Kendra at one point in the book. Overall, this was a hot steamy read that was short but well written. This was my first book by Lacy Silks (I just love that name!)She is definitely an author you should try if you like steamy fun books. Lacey Silks grabs you from the first paragraph with witty banter between Kendra, Sam and Gabe. While Kendra and Sam are getting drinks from sexy bartender Gabriel on opening night for Kendra's new club, sparks begin to fly between Sam and Gabe. However both Sam and Gabe have scars from past relationships that keep them apart but yet each time they see each other after this the flirty banter continues and is oh so much fun! Kendra gets involved with some bad people which inadvertently puts Sam in danger by being her friend. Gabe to the rescue who really owns a PI firm and is Kendra's silent partner in the club. As the 3 escape trouble, Sam and Gabe are given a chance to finally have dinner and see if what they feel will be more than a one-night stand – oh, and the sex if amazing. This is a shorter book but Lacey doesn't leave anything out and keeps you engaged the entire time.

Have you ever had a book that you held off reading, thinking you wouldn't like it? That's how I was with this book and I am kicking myself for it. When I finished reading it, I went to find the next book in the series. That is how much I enjoyed this book. I have now added Lacey Silks to my list of must read authors! This book started out with Gabe and Samantha flirting at Kissed. The way Lacey had them flirting together was very hot. It started out with an Orgasm and Sex on the Beach. Gabe and Sam decide to have a fling with no strings attached. Little did they know that their fling would turn into something more. Sam finds out that her friend Kendra has gotten involved with some bad people; when they approach Sam for the money Gabe saves her. Gabe takes Sam and Kendra to New Zealand for protection. Kendra talks Sam into doing her a favor. It turns out its actually not what she thinks. Gabe once again rushes in to save her. Gabe gets her home safe and sound, they both realize that they have fallen in love with each other and a fling won't do. The bad guys won't stop and they once again attack. This time they have buried Samantha alive. Gabe and his cousin race to find her before it's to late and history repeats itself.

I LOVED it! The sex scenes were quite steamy...But I loved the undercurrents as well. The plot kept me intrigued to the very end. And I was sad to see it end..just when you think things will end on a happily ever after note. There is more explosive action around the corner... Gabe and Sam are made for each other and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Tristan and Kendra too.. Can't wait for the sequel!!!

Not realistic even for fiction. Sam had a little substance, she wanted no commitment because of her past. She found a man that was perfect for her in every way. Gabe only had eyes for her. He was an alpha and protective in a good way. So Sam craving a threesome! Gabe was patient with her way too often. Many times he said she was only his. Being immature, Sam still wanted to play. I dont think deserved Gabe, but he stuck by her all the way. It almost showed a little weakness on his part. Some cute bantering going on through the story. I agree with the other reviews. Moved fast, plot not well written. Story didnt pull you in solid.

No cliffhanger. Gabe is delicious that I would love to sink a bite into.

I did not even bother to finish this book. Samantha is an idiot, and her friend Kendra is not much better. This book is just an excuse to write about sex. The story is limp. The book irritates and who needs that?

Pretty good read. It is a complete book, but does have a cliffhanger involving a secondary character. This is a series.
