Crystal is back and I'm thrilled. This is the second book of a series (The first is Dust Bunnies and Dead Bodies - another good read!) and Janis Thornton does not disappoint. Funny with a number of twists and turns. I love the ending. Can't wait for book #3!

Janice Thornton's clever, gripping mystery novel had me chuckling at the dry humor and whip-smart observations of the protagonist. Red herrings and twists and turns made the ending a huge surprise! Both the protagonist and the murder victim, who used to be rivals, were interesting, wonderfully flawed characters. Well done, would definitely recommend!
