About the Author

Eleanor Hill is an indie author residing in the state of North Carolina who previously served in the US Navy, and she was always a writer at heart, even if she had to be a fighter first. Though, she didn't start out with the dream of writing novels. She actually never thought that she would make it that far as her interest has always been in teaching the subject. Her plan initially was to join the military in order to obtain the ability to go to college debt free. During her time in service though she realized just how much writing her own words felt more like her than reading them. Four years later, she retired and didn't know what to do anymore. Poetry seems to call to her as that was her primary genre of writing, but she knew that wasn't always easy. It wasn't until she had began telling others of story ideas that she would love to read and their encouragement that she knew it wasn't just poetry anymore, but words. Any kind of words that she could string together is all that she needed. The stories could be long or short, but they would always be hers and they needed to be heard. Thus began the writing of Dead By Dusk. Born from dreams, love, words- heard, seen and thought of. Since she's started writing the book, she's decided that she will continue writing stories of any genre, as long as it's one that she would love to read in the hopes that others might fall in love with them too.
