I encourage you to give this series a read! I read voraciously and without qualification the Dead Cold cases are gritty as a Mike Hammer, as convoluted as Sam Spade and without a doubt as action packed as any reader could ask for. The dialogue is sharp and witty, the characters sure to stick in your memory. Looking forward to the next four novels. Try them you won’t regret it!

If you are into reading "F" bombs and other unnecessary expletives then this might be for you. 29 pages into the first in this series I was extremely sorry I spent $8.99 on it. I won't be guilty of ordering anything from this author again.

The story itself is very well written. Good character and plot development. Some issues with minor inaccuracies in research, such as indicating that a couple of missing children (In New York) have no National Insurance numbers issued to them. In the US, this would be a Social Security number. Additionally, the priest with the Ford Ka registered to him (also in NY), when this is a vehicle sold in Latin and South America and the UK. Minor mistakes, yes, but definitely pull you out of the created reality.
