About the Author

Having blocks of time to write is pure luxury. Before, when raising a family and working as a teacher or computer programmer, tantalizing tales of dark deeds and people facing them swirled in my head. Lucky for me, I can write them now. My husband, a CPA with his own busy practice, and I are almost empty nesters. Isn't it terrific when kids want to become independent?

hello hope you are well and sorry for the delay. A brief about the novel: "Amy had stood beside her ex-boyfriend in his sickness, after his death Finn employed Amy and he had a previously bad experience as a child which left its mark upon him, so he wanted a woman in his bed, but not in his life was what he often said. As Amy started work with him, he tried to show power and authority but she was strong and put her own conditions. We notice a flick of interest between them. A romantic story with a climax of terrorism and Tekbir. - i liked the good English language used in the novel, it had good beginnings and endings for each chapter. - I loved the combination of characters of the novel Amy the romantic, sensitive and strong-willed woman. I respect her for sacrificing a lot for her ex-boyfriend and the showing power in front of Finn and put her own conditions. Finn at the beginning he showed power and authoritative then he turned into a man full of emotions and love. Cassidy the materialistic, shallow and spiteful. Amy saw her ex-boyfriend on the funeral day, that makes us wonder is she imagining or was Lez still alive. - I loved its quotes: It's a thing. It's replaceable. That's not true with people. - Guiding the greedy was as easy as ringing a bell for Pavlov's dogs. I loved the romanticism: We? how sweet. A small bubble of pride expanded inside her. She was with him. what i did not like about it is that there a lot of sexuality in it. The end i would have much preferred it ends with their marriage. It is a good novel especially that it talked about terrorism and tekbir kind regards

Something unexpected and very sinister is going on, as rival gangs and terrorist groups fight for power, with Finn and Amy right in the middle of it. The suspense is high, constant, and intense in the story, as the events start to unfold. The crimes are very much today's headlines, with terrorist groups, sex slaves, faked death, betrayals, and more. Everything that is happening, seems to be somehow involved Amy and Finn, if in not another way, then as an eye witness. They both have a delightfully sarcastic tone, and skeptical outlook, as they run from one incident to the other, while trying to solve the mystery of someone stealing money from Finn's company. But like saying, it all seems to be connected. The attraction between Finn and Amy is distinct, from the lust filled thoughts with the passionate action, as they fulfill their desires. What starts as a one night stand, develop into more, and feelings start to muddy it all up. The dialog is, especially at the beginning of the book, in need of some finesse, it's at times missing the natural flow of the conversation, and feels stony. The plot is intriguing, and filled with the unexpected. The suspense is energetic, and endless. The lust filled attraction gets credible, as more feelings are in the picture, and Finn and Amy find themselves falling for each other. Interesting, very much up to date, suspense ~ Three Spoons

Amy Kintyre has a chance to design her own clothes, has interviewed with someone to carry her label but needs time to finish her full presentation. So she’s planning on quitting her taxi cab job and applies as a bookkeeper for Finbar Donahue, ex-Army Ranger. Amy’s not in the hunt for a date these days as she’s got enough on her plate; but when she meets with Finn, all bets are off and it’s instant hot zone trying to tone down. It won’t be long until both are doing the same and more. Finn’s got a huge problem, however. His partner has been killed but it seems his partner or someone else was siphoning funds out of the business. It’s not so easy to track which makes it all smell like some very shady money laundering. So Finn’s asked for some police help and the case becomes a larger nightmare when it appears that the local Irish Mafia is tangled up with some ISIS fundraisers assisted by some ragtag Mexican hoods. When Finn’s account is frozen, all hell breaks out! Deadly Alliance is a crime thriller and serious hot and heavy romance novel. Rowland’s plot is complex enough to keep the reader engaged with wondering how it will all end. At the same time, the sparks are flying between Finn and Amy and Finn’s former skittishness around women appears to be undergoing a very gradual transformation. Amy, a woman who knows her own mind and has no need for a dependent relationship, is a feisty character who may ramp up Finn’s testosterone but knows how to cool his fiery temper and Army Ranger force that doesn’t want to wait for someone else to handle what he clearly sees is family betrayal. Very good read and highly recommended for romance and thriller fans!

Fun, fast paced romance with a bevy of bad guys. Finn Donahue and Amy Kintyre are not expecting fireworks when Amy starts working for him BUT that is what they get both in the office and outside of it. Finding out who is stealing the money from Finn while dealing with a slew of bad guys fighting for turf in their community and falling for one another comprises the main part of this book. I like Amy’s ability to say what she wants, stick up for herself and achieve great things in her life while helping just about everyone around her. I like Finn’s love and caring attitude to his father. For some reason the writing reminds me a bit of Janet Evanovich so if you like her books you will probably like this one, too. Thank you to the author for the copy of this book to read and review. 3.5 Stars
