Fay Cunningham, publisher of a small-town Pennsylvania newspaper, is in big trouble again. She's thrown into the investigation of an archery murder and must convince a young whippersnapper police officer the arrow that smacked into a tree next to her didn't come from a hunter who mistook her for a deer. Fay must prove it with lightning speed before the next arrow lands her six feet under.

The first Fay Cunningham book was good. This one is sophmoric at best. Ms. Lee is in desperate need of a better editor if she plans to keep writing. The plot is jumpy, it's hard to follow how the characters relate or who is speaking to who. Two-thirds of the way through the book, Fay drives a Lincoln. In the final third, she suddenly drives a Cadillac. I felt like I was reading a rough draft, not a published novel. Save your time and money.
