About the Author

Charles Ray has been writing fiction since his teens. This is the ninth in the Al Pennyback series. He has also written three fantasy novels, a photo-journal of his travels through southern Africa, and two books on leadership. He is a frequent contributor to online publications, and is a featured travel writer on Yahoo! Voices.

A published poet, his work has appeared in a number of anthologies. Ray has also worked as a newspaper and magazine journalist, and in the 1970s was editorial cartoonist and feature writer for the Spring Lake (NC) News. He is an accomplished photographer, whose photos have been featured in a number of publications in Asia and North America.
