Was extremely upset that most of the descriptions of my grandmother and mother were not true. I expected this book to tell the truth about the murders my uncle,(by adoption), committed. I did not expect untruths about people that are not here to defend themselves. Blame should be put where it belongs, with Mr. Lindsey.

I will never be able to read another book of this type again without wondering if all is true. There are so many inaccurate descriptions of the Lindsey Family, I found myself checking to see if this book was classified as fiction. There are incorrect dates and facts that can easily be checked by public records and newspaper archives. The accounts that were truthful are so misleading, a reader would have no other choice but to have thier imagination believe the same viewpoint of the authors. The dominating Mother implication is only a speculation or an easy way out. The authors should have stuck to the Police facts and left the Psychology process to those competent.

Excellent account of serial murders in St. Augustine, Florida beginning in the late 1980s and ending in the mid 1990s.Many interesting insights regarding events and circumstances. The authors give sensitive treatment of victims, their families and friends, and others involved in relative ways. Excellent review of police investigations and progress made toward the eventual arrest and prosecution of the murderer.

Read this book if you are fascinated by the strange and horrid world of serial killers. By using a combo of police reports, personal interviews with people who knew the killer and the victims, and psychological profiling, the story of this man is told from many angles. This man lived in St. Augustine, FL, but it seems creepy that he could have lived anywhere.
