I absolutely loved Death by Perfection. A high school student decides to kill the three adults at school who have ruined her perfection, and we're along as witnesses. The killer talks directly to us, sure we will understand the reasons for ridding the world of these people. When we're not in the killer's mind, we're following Detective Maguire as he sorts through the clues and suspects and goes down some dead ends. All of the characters are complex and fascinating, both the good guys and the suspects. The killer is honest with us, but we still can't figure out the identity. The book has great writing, is suspenseful and intriguing, and keeps us guessing right up to the end. Get this book: you’ll be totally involved in it and will be staying up late to find out what happens.
