About the Author

Sarah Honig is a veteran columnist and senior editorial writer. During her decades-long history at the Jerusalem Post, she had served for many years as its political correspondent, headed the Post's Tel Aviv bureau and wrote daily analyses of the political scene, along with in-depth features. Sarah was born in Israel and reared both in Israel and the United States. She was educated at the High School of Music and Art in New York City and at Tel Aviv University. Aside from Sarah's long-spanning career, she is also a mother and an artist. She is an avid collector of antique and vintage dolls and loves gardening with the friendly, albeit not-so-helpful accompaniment of her cat and dog.

With the mass media and most politicians of this oil-dependent world having sold their rear ends to the recycled petrodollar cash cow long ago, it is the rare journalist who isn't eviscerating Israel out of corruption and/or ideological bigotry.  Sarah Honig is one of those rare journalists.  Her column in the Jerusalem Post cuts through the decades-old legacy of lying about the Arab-Israeli conflict and allows anyone on the planet who has not been mentally calcified by media distortions a look at the conflict for what it really is.   This book is an extension of that ongoing effort to set the record straight about  Jews and Israel in modern times.
