About the Author

In 2000, Michelle Lee Heath, began her first novel, Deceit, in a spiral bound notebook. It only took her 6 months to complete it, but it took 10 years for her to share it with friends, and 15 years to take the necessary steps toward publishing it.
The older of two children, Michelle grew up in Illinois and South Central Kentucky. She was always active and loved to play softball. Her love of writing came early thanks to her aunts who kept her stocked in paper, pens, and pencils that she remembers carrying everywhere she went in a small green suitcase.

She married her first husband, Allen Tarter, at the age of 19, and had 2 beautiful children, Micah and Elijah. Her husband, Allen, passed away in 2009 and Michelle turned to her friends and family for support. It wasn't until after that tragic event that she began sharing her novel with her friends and family who all tried to encourage her to publish it.

Michelle currently spends her days working as a buyer for the Maintenance Department of an automotive supplier. She lives in South Eastern Kentucky in a small town called Bronston, with her three spoiled pugs. She's happily awaiting her first grandchild that will be born in April of 2016.

In the summer she loves spending time on Lake Cumberland swimming and relaxing, and loves to curl up in the recliner reading a good book, watching movies, and spending time with her pug dogs. In the winter she works jigsaw puzzles and works on her writings.
