Great Read!! I loved this book!!! This book is actually a 4.5 star read for me. Decker's Wood is absolutely hilarious. The characters are freaking fantastic!! I totally loved Decker Steele, not only is he super sexy, he is absolutely hilarious!! Andi is Decker's perfect match. Every girl needs a Casey in her life!! And then when you combine Casey and Lionel together, life is absolutely perfect!! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

I got this book after seeing it nominated in the Humor category on a couple of websites. While it was not a serious read, I found very view times when the book caused me to chuckle. I've read several stories within the past few months that had me laughing more frequently and a lot harder including Entice by S.E. Hall, Chocolate Lovers series by Tara Sivec, and Sweet Addiction books by J. Daniels. The storyline was ok although it wasn't what I expected and I had mixed feelings about Decker's character.

5++++++++. A very good, funny, witty dialogue, great characters, page-turning read. Finished the book in < 24 hrs. Couldn't put this book down. Didn't want it to end. This was # 7 on SBC July's Best Selling Books..... Loved Country/Andie and City/Decker attraction, chemistry and friendship theyhad. This is a definite re-read. LOVETOREAD

I saw the synopsis for Decker's Wood by Kirsty Dallas one night and one-clicked that baby immediately. I hadn't read any reviews yet, but it just sounded hilarious so I had to have it. What can I say I have no restraint when it comes to books. I LOVED this book! Overall Rating: 4.5 Stars - Screw sleep! I’ll let the kids watch TV and eat hot dogs tomorrow. Decker's Wood is told through alternating duel points of view. We get to see inside Andi our heroine's head and Decker our hero as well. From pretty much the get go I loved Andi. She's a red head, has freckles, and owns a bookstore...sold. It also didn't hurt her that she's hilarious and just an awesome chick. It took me longer to really fall for Decker. I mean ahhh, men are so stupid sometimes. And the dude is such a man! There were a few times I wasn't even sure Decker would have fallen for Andi had he not had this 'little problem'. I mean he continuously said that she wasn't someone he would have looked at twice before, but in the end I think he was able to realize he was head over heals for her. On top of our awesome characters and some good bedroom scenes this book was also hilarious. I laughed out loud more than once. I just couldn't help myself. I was trying so hard to not wake up Matt, but it was just too funny. I have more highlighted sections of text than I could possibly put here, which is just a shame. I want to share it all. I'm not sure Decker is book boyfriend material, but I loved Andi. I loved her so much I think she could join the hall of book besties. You know what a high honor that is for a book heroine. I think there are less than ten of them total between Trish and I. We normally can't stand or are indifferent to book heroines so when one reaches the ranks it should be celebrated. :) This book would have been a solid five stars for me, but there was at least one time lapse/continuity error that threw me off my reading game for a while as I wrapped my head around it. But it was nothing major and didn't deter from the story, hopefully it will be fixed in later editions and no one will know. In the end, Decker's Wood, Decker, and Andi left me smiling and in a good book place once I finished reading. I normally delete books off my kindle once I finish reviewing, but I know this one is going to be on there for a while more so I can have another read. Plus I've heard word there will be another book in this set (about other characters) and I know I'll be picking that one up as well. If you're looking for something funny I highly recommend you add Decker's Wood to your Kindle now so it's ready.

It was amazing, refreshing and so sweet. With all the “dark” romances out there, this book was a spring shower for me.

A book that is funny, sexy and has a HEA. It has been awhile since a book has made me laugh, cry and then smile. Don't get turned off by the blurb about decker being a porn star. There is such a great story here. I hope the author gives us another story with an update of Decker and Andi's story. Maybe a story about Leah and Bradley. This is a great read and you will enjoy it.

4.5 stars! Decker's Wood was JUST what I needed! Kirsty Dallas has written a funny, witty, hot story that was just damn fun to read! I fell in love with Decker in the first chapter and love how Kirsty Dallas gives you a different take on a male lead in a romance novel. Not only is Decker a porn star, he is down to earth, funny and just easy to love. Decker's Wood takes a story of two people becoming friends that turn into lovers and then have the challenge of trying to figure out where they fit into each other's lives. I loved this story! The characters were refreshing to read and just seemed like people you would actually want to be friends with. Andi was adorable, funny and smart. She is not a doormat and doesn't put up with nonsense. I loved her sass and her quirkiness (and her cowboy boots). Kirsty Dallas created a rich cast of characters (and they were "characters") that meshed well together, had each other's backs and made you wish that these people were in your circle of friends too. In a market full of dark, angst-filled drama, Kirsty Dallas pulls off a book that is a shining light! Decker's Wood will make you laugh out loud, sigh with the romance of it all and wish for your very own Decker! This was my first Kirsty Dallas book and it will not be my last! Her writing style is easy to get swept away in and her way of unfolding the story using dual POV was very engaging (I love getting inside both characters' minds). While I know this is a stand-alone book, I can't help but hope for more! I am not ready for Decker and Andi's story to be done and I will miss this fun cast! If you are looking for a light read that has heart, humor and heat you can't go wrong with Decker's Wood! 1-click this today and end your weekend with a smile on your face.
