About the Author
CarrieAnn (CAT) Thunell has been published in over 77 print magazines (in 7 countries). She created, published, and edited the print magazine, Nisqually Delta Review, dedicated to ecological poetry and art, for 3 ½ years and has served as a guest editor for the Santa Fe Broadsides. CAT was also a judge in the long poetry division of the 2007 Frontiers in Writing contest put on by the Panhandle Professional Writers. This is her third book of poetry. She is an ecology and peace activist, backpacker, organic gardener, nature photographer, free-lance artist, and poet who lives in Olympia Washington with her husband Steven.
