I read it in one day at work & yes didn’t get no work done LOL!!! I hate cliffhangers but when the 2nd book is out fast enough who cares LOL!!! Don’t want to give too much but I hope Rafe & Diana find their truths & they work something out. They need each other.

While Rafer tries to get back to a civilian life he encounters a damsel in distress. As his new life looks promising his new friend is working her female's Giles on him. Great adventure for both Diane and Rafer. Looking forward to part two. Wow super sensual, Malone squared is amazing.

YES! Thank the Heavens above; I finally have Rafe’s story! This man is the epitome of an alpha male. Strong, sexy, sensuous and oh so mysterious. He gives me ALL the feels. I have waited so long to get in deep with this man. To top it all off … Rafe has met his match in Diana. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him, right? Right … ? The last thing that Rafe ever expected was to meet those intense eyes again, especially after all of these years. Diana always knew that she would avenge her fathers’ death. Until she got to know his killer, that is. Could she go through with it? The man that killed her father was a monster. The epitome of filth. The scum beneath her shoe. She would have no qualms in seeking revenge. Or would she? Nana and Minx have given us yet another masterpiece in Deep. I devoured this book in one sitting. Like all of their others, once I cracked it open, nothing else mattered. This story has been in the making for quite some time, as we’re finally getting back to where it all began. If you have not been introduced to these amazing authors, please acquaint yourself immediately. Definitely top shelf reads. Enjoy!

Deep is a total 4 1/2 stars read!!! I absolutely loved it!! M. Malone and Nana Malone, or as they are known Malone Squared, has hit it out of the park once again with this installment in the Shameless World!! Deep takes us back into the world of the Blake Security team, a team of gorgeous and well-trained ex-assassins, who now work in security providing all forms of protection to their clients, but especially to women. Deep focuses on Raphael DeMarco aka Rafe, who is Lucia's brother and Noah's mentor (whose story we read about in the Shameless Duet), but who is also one seriously sexy, kick-butt, and supremely alpha male...and yeah, he is an ex-assassin too. Deadly combo there, aye??!! Rafe also happens to be a loner, not just because he is an ex-assassin, and a semi-retired FBI agent, but also because of the life choices he was forced to make as a result of his "career" choices, and because he may have tried to kill a couple of the Blake Security team members before he became one of them, but who is keeping track? And so Rafe is a part of the team, but not really, as he tires to acclimate back into civilian life. In walks Diana, a beautiful damsel in stress, who brings out every protective instinct Rafe has in him. However, what Rafe doesn't know, is that his past maybe coming back to haunt him. Diana may not be all that she presents herself to be!! Deep is a well written story shrouded in mystery, suspense, sexy-times, and perfectly placed banter that keeps the reader engaged. M. Malone and Nana Malone's easy writing style will draw you and keep you entertained until the very end, and of course you will want more, because this one definitely ends on a cliffhanger, and what a cliffhanger it is!! I am so ready for the second book. I will say, although you maybe able to read Deep as a standalone, I would totally implore you to read this series from the beginning if you have not, starting with the Shameless Duet, because you will not want to miss out on falling in love with these guys, and each Duet sort of builds off of the prior Duet in the Shameless World. Not to mention, who wouldn't want to fall in love with the Shameless World from the very beginning!!

4 Hots Stars of HeatA rip-roaring hotbed of sexy heat. The ladies are always giving us the goods. I went into this book not even realizing this was Rafe story from the Shameless series. Oh heck yeah, it's good.

The ending was AWESOME!!! I can't wait for the next book. I have to admit that I struggled with rating this book. I had been waiting for Rafe's story, and I really like Rafe. Sad to say, there is nothing I like about Diana. In the previous books, the female lead was independent, smart, and sassy. They were likable characters. They often knew they were in over their heads, but more often than not, things were done for the greater good. Although I did not like Diana, the story was still good, especially toward the end. I did skim over some of the sex scenes, which I probably would have appreciated more if I liked Diana. There was just some part of me that didn't want her to be with Rafe. I definitely didn't want Emelie to get her hooks into him. I would recommend this book. It is intriguing, exciting, has a good deal of action, and some mystery. Full disclosure: it is a cliffhanger. I hate cliffhangers normally. This is the only series that has been interesting enough for me to deal with it. I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy.

The boys from Blake Security are back and just as bad ass as ever! This time around, we focus on Rafe, but a lot of your old favorites make an appearance as well. Rafe faces his toughest opponent yet… love, and it just may be the end of him. This particular book ends in a big ol’ cliffie, but trust me, with the ride this one takes you on, you won’t mind a bit. It just gives you something to look forward to in the near future. I would highly recommend this book, and I absolutely can’t wait to see where this story goes. *I was given an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review. All opinions are my own.

Rafe sexy, hot, lethal . . . Dianna well that's it for me on her right now . . . There was thrilling suspense, romance, chemistry . . . but something was missing. I have waited just a few months for this one to unfold and come to the scene. I found it missing something. I will need to reread to find what was missing. Rafe had my wanting more and then some. . . I found Dianna was a match for him but not. Does that make sense. This in-deed was a page turner for me but after turning so many pages I was wanting more and not getting it. It was almost like something was hanging just out of my reach. As always Malone and Malone did a great job with weaving a tale to get immersed in. I think that I would need something extra to boost the read further. I think something better should be around the corner for Rafe. Maybe Dianna will make a turnaround and make a perfect connection point for Rafe and all that he has going on.

Can a former assassin transition into normal civilian life? That is the question Rafe grapples with throughout the book. He's left his former life behind, but it comes back to haunt him. His protective instincts kick in when he meets Diana. He knows she's not telling him everything, but he's not telling her everything so is that really so bad? What do you do when you're set on revenge and then find out everything you thought was not what it was? Who do you believe? Who do you trust? Where do you go to figure it all out? Only time will tell... PS - Loved the two scenes with Izzy and Matthias. OMG, that was a hoot. I hope there is more antics to come from them.

Assasin Rafe is working to live in the real world again, with his family, not so many friends. He isn't ready to add a woman to the mix. Still, he couldn't just ignore the car in the ravine on the deserted road. Diana. She didn't want help. Didn't trust him. Finally, let him help her. Eventually, even went with him to his place. Not at all like him. What was it about this woman? She was in danger and wouldn't let him know who or why they threatened her. Diana's plans were working. She was in the assassin's den. Now, find out more and find It. More important, don't let him know who she is and what she has planned. Neither of them is ready for the chemistry that steams between them. He really wanted to be the good guy. She really wanted to hate him. She had reason. Neither trust easily. Can there be anything real between them? Another page turner from the Malones. The guys in this agency are hot, deadly, and steamy. The women have to be strong, sassy, snarky, with a sense of humor, and up to the guy's unsurpassed stamina. This is the first of the two-parter. I'm caught in their web again and can't wait for more. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On

I was totally captivated by this thrilling and sexy romance. Rafe is so intriguing and sexy. He is a protector and righter of wrongs, with a past that is full of secrets. He wants to protect his family but when he rescues a beautiful damsel in distress, he wants to become a better man. Diana has had her sights set on Rafe for years. She has lived for revenge and planned to make Rafe pay for the murder of her father. But as she gets to know Rafe, she questions all she knows as she falls for him. But what is she if she doesn't have revenge to live for? All is not what it seems for either Rafe or Diana. As secrets are revealed, both their lives are in more danger than ever before. This suspenseful and steamy story leaves us on the edge of our seats, needing answers, and wanting more. I can't wait for book 2, Deeper, and I'm so happy we don't have long to wait.

Black, white and gray collide to create a hodge podge the likes I've yet seen. Rafe and Diana are strangers with a history. He's her bogeyman and she's his retribution. Or could it be that their about to become each other's downfall? In a world where nothing is as it seems and danger runs rampant, emotions run high and secrets run deep. Malone squared lays the groundwork for an enticing, yet complicated battle of wills. Deep plays peekaboo with the mind while setting the senses ablaze.

Anyone that is familiar with my reviews knows I don't like cliffhangers!  However, since I've read books by both authors and enjoyed them so much, when they started collaborating on these books, I had to read them!  Beginning with Lucia and Noah's books, I was hooked.  The stories are so intriguing that I didn't mind that they were cliffhangers, I just couldn't wait for the next book! This story is another that ties in with the Shameless and Force books.  Many of the same characters are involved, and the Hero is one that was introduced earlier.  The heroine is new, but is someone that was known (kind of)  by the Hero, was affected by his previous occupation.  (I don't want to give away too much, but it's definitely an interesting story line!)  I was drawn in from the very beginning, and before I knew it, I was at the end! The Hero is really a good guy, but thinks he isn't.  He is trying to become the man he thinks he should be, and is turning his life around, but things (or people!) from his past keep coming back to haunt him. The heroine is a good girl, with a bad past.  She blames the Hero for everything that is bad in her life, even though they really don't know each other.  She is unable to move on with her life, and spins a web of lies to cover up her true motives.  Of course, this can't work out well for her in the end. There is so much at work in this book, so many things going on that you think you know what is going to happen, but really, you don't.  I was totally on pins and needles the entire time I was reading, and they ended the book on such a high note, that you can't help but think, "I've gotta get the next book.  I can't rest until I have it!"  I can see how amazing they could be together, but I just can't see how they can move on with everything that happened.  Of course, I though the same thing with the Shameless and Force books, and they had their HEA, so maybe there is hope!
