About the Author
He returned to NY State in May 1970 and a year later married his “much better half”, Amy. Since then, four children and five grandchildren have blessed their 43 years together. A family camp purchased in 1957 near Saranac Lake gave him a great love and respect for the Adirondacks. His first two books “A Deer Hunter's History Book” and “Adirondack Camps and Hunts” reflect that love. The third book, 'A Taste of Wild Alaska” biographies his eight and half years in Alaska. “Hunting Central New York Whitetails”, his fourth, is a very entertaining history of when deer began repopulating Central N.Y. and how they were hunted. “Adirondack Hunters and Trappers”, his fifth book gives many histories on the old hunting camps. The latest book, “In the Woods with Adirondack Sportsmen”, chronicles the adventures of many well known Adirondack hunters and trappers.
