Overview

Defender (Kris Longknife Series #11) by Mike Shepherd

Kris Longknife is back in the good graces of the brass—and to demonstrate that, they've promoted her to Admiral.  Now her mission is to find the home base of the space pirates who are plaguing the fringes of the galaxy.

But no mission is ever simple when your name is Longknife. And this time the complications range from the military to the personal, as Kris finds herself—reluctantly—having to make some command decisions about her future...

This is another great read in the Kris Longknife series. Would be nice to get each new one out a little quicker. If you haven't read any of the series, start with one and enjoy.

I have enjoyed all the Kris Longknife books, and have bought each one. This is great military SF, and the series is getting better as it goes on. Thank you, Mike!

Like the book, been reading the entire series since it first came out. Too bad B & N is about as useful as a soup sandwich. Poor customer service, over charge for e-books, specials do not apply to e-book purchases, the list goes on... Do yourself a favor and get the book from someone else. The only reason I used them for this purchase was the settlement credited to my account. By all means get the book it is really good.
